Champions Of Care Bringing A Whole New Meaning To Health

Champions of Care

This is a sponsored post with the Niche Parent Network & Conference. All opinions are my own.

By now you know I’m all about making healthy choices and I have spread my message throughout my blog and definitely at my home from small choices like more water to more significant ones, saying no to fast food, no soda since 2012, no food with preservatives; organic produce and more activity to help our bodies move towards being healthy!

I gathered recipes to fit our busy lifestyle, scheduled exercise in between business meetings, downloaded a Latin Boost Playlist, enrolled my son in extra curricular activities and make sure we always have fresh fruit to make smoothies, which has become our favorite snack, replacing the high calorie sugar loaded options! The results are very rewarding, totaling almost 30 pounds lost since April last year for me alone!

Like me, many other parents, educators, community leaders and physicians are working to empower their families, friends, communities, towns and like the first lady, Michelle Obama, a whole nation to a healthier more active lifestyle.

To thank those who have taken action, independent Health Mart pharmacists are awarding $50,000 in grants to community health non-profits to recognize their efforts for improving health and well-being in their communities. A local non-profit of your choice could receive funding to continue their amazing work building healthier communities.

Health Mart’s Champions of Care Challenge will shine the light on those local heroes whose everyday actions have built healthier families, workplaces, neighborhoods and communities. The winner’s prizes will be:

  •   A $30,000 grant chosen by the grand prize winner
  •   A $3,000 grant chosen by the 2nd place winner
  •   A $2,000 grant chosen by the 3rd place winner
  •   $1,000 grants chosen by each of 15 finalists

Entering is simple. Just tell  your story about the good deed you or someone you know has done, and you could win the right to select the non-profit of your choice to receive thousands of dollars to continue to empower, develop and work towards the overall health improvement of the community.
Visit TODAY to nominate someone, yourself or another non-profit for the Champions of Care Challenge from Health Mart! What are you waiting for? Call your friends, share your wonderful stories and submit them for a chance to award an amazing local non profit with a grant and start sharing!

Starting on March 17th, the public will have two weeks to vote for their favorite Champions of Care at, rally your friends and let it all begin! Let’s raise health awareness by celebrating health commitment!
