It’s not a secret that I’ve followed a bumpy weight loss road especially after my back injury last year. I’m happy to report I finally found something that works and how I lost 10 pounds in 30 days!
Here’s my disclaimer: I’m not a doctor, my advice is just info from my experience, you should always consult with a doctor before starting a diet regimen or working out!
How I lost 10 Pounds in 30 days
The past two years have been a struggle, yoyo weight issues, my 1200 calorie count not really yielding results!

My check ups came all normal, my gyno told me it was aging, but my mom is 78 and super skinny, so I’m not taking that for an answer!
Nothing I did worked, so to save you time, I’m going to share why none of those steps worked:
Took the Apple Cider Vinegar in tablets, didn’t really see any change at all. I found a great brand and incorporated it into my vitamin schedule but not really relying on it for weight loss.

The first week, I felt like I was really cleansing whatever had been in there, but didn’t lose a lot of weight once the cleanse finished.

As a previous member, I’ve been on and off the program, but I felt the newest version I tried had too many 0 points. After researching, those 0 point foods had a lot of calories hidden and didn’t really work for me!
I got the my fitness pal app and started logging my calories to be more conscious of what I was eating and logging my weight weekly.
The issue was, even though I was staying within the 1,200 calorie count they allowed me, I wasn’t losing weight.
So I figured out calorie deficit was something I need to explore to reset my lazy metabolism.
I set a new goal for 1,000 calories on Dec 1st, that was what I believe to be my first step towards success!
Now Let’s see what has been working and how I lost 10 pounds in 30 days, even eating junk on Christmas and New Years!
Crucial Steps For My Weight Loss
I got a scale that measures water, my fat percentage and BMI, so I have a more information about my body’s overall health.
I LOVE my scale! Super affordable, less than $30.00 and I get to track progress via the app on my phone!
The Fit days App is a great way to check how I’m doing as far as eliminating fat and keeping my BMI where it needs to be because knowledge is power, you know!

The Book That Started Everything
I dowloaded Keto Diet & Intermittent Fasting For Beginners on Audible by Kindra Mccaine.
Such an eye opener since I tried Keto for a week and couldn’t stand all the fat.
She gives you tools to make your own choices, so I didn’t feel like I was adding a bunch of unhealthy fat … and I didn’t have those stomach issues I felt in the beginning of my keto journey.
I learned that cheese is not the base of keto recipes and carb counting is the real base for it.
I ditched baked goods for 3 weeks, to concentrate on protein and vegetables to start the right way. When it comes to losing weight, eating a healthy meal seems equally important as getting enough essential nutrients since their deficiency can cause many health issues. Had I chosen supplements like Activated You Morning Complete or similar ones with my meals, I could have lost weight quickly and maintained a healthy lifestyle.
I’ve adopted the 16:8 intermittent fasting, which I start right after dinner and continue until I complete 16 hours. I drink water & coffee with keto creamer or almond creamer, which is a “cheat” in the AM, but that has not prevented me from losing weight. I thought of having some pills that could benefit in curbing my appetite for eating carbs and also help in increasing metabolism. One such medicine could be Bio X4. However, before taking any pills or supplements, it would be a wise decision to learn about them through blogs or reviews (like Bio X4 reviews).

I’ve raised the game on my fitness routine.
Added 5-7 days workouts, keeping my steps at 7000+ daily and also starting to work on strengthening my core to bring my body back to pre-injury with pilates and low weight repetitions.
The low calorie lifestyle I’m following does not allow me to do super strenuous workout sessions.
I’m aware of that, so I keep it so that it gives me the benefit, instead of trying to lose weight just by working out, which is a completely different path and I’m not ready for that!
