Ingredients
  • 4 Large Eggs separate the whites from yolks before start the recipe
  • 1 Cup Shredded Gouda and Mozzarella mix
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Herbs You can substitute them for any herbs you like.
  • Salt to taste
  • 2/3 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 Tbsp Blanched Almond Flour I prefer the blue diamond brand
  • 2 Tbsp Butter I prefer salted room temperature
Instructions
  1. Start beating the egg whites until they are fluffy and no liquid comes from it

  2. Pre-Heat The Oven at 375F

  3. Use a skillet and melt the butter

  4. Add almond flour and cook before it boils, for about 1 min

  5. Add heavy cream and continue to cook for about 4 mins

  6. Add cheese, salt and herbs and continue stirring

  7. Remove from the heat and let it sit for 2 minutes

  8. Mix in the egg yolks

  9. Fold cheese blend into egg whites, very gently, not letting the egg whites lose texture.

  10. Place mixture in an oven safe container previously coated with butter

  11. Bake for 20 minutes or until it is golden brown and the sides have risen
