I was invited to attend a press trip in Canada and test drive the all new Nissan Altima AWD, but all opinions are my own.
After 17 years basically avoiding driving in deep snow, I accepted the challenge and trusted that the Nissan Altima AWD would help me to confidently tackle winter driving.
I’m going to be honest! Growing up in South America, my Latin Winter Index was always in the low 80s!
When I moved here, my body acclimated to the cold winter, snow and freezing rain, but my driving skills never really reached the point where I felt comfortable driving in deep snow.
I received an invite to travel to Canada to drive in snow and ice – yes, you read it right, ICE!
When it hit my inbox, I immediately accepted, I felt it was time to do this!
It was about time to take control of whatever was preventing me from bravely heading into the white and enjoying snow covered hills!
This is my approach on conquering fears:
I couldn’t ask for a better ride!
Here Are A Few Reasons Why The Nissan Altima AWD Helped Me To Confidently Tackle Winter Driving
The Enhanced driving performance, including Intelligent All-Wheel Drive
After placing my hands on the wheel and once we started moving, I felt how smooth and smart the car was handling the road and challenges ahead!
The Altima AWD performance really surprised me!
Expressive design with lower, wider and more athletic proportions
A Beautiful and Trendy more linear, tailored feel that’s emphasized by the sharp horizontal lines and signature Nissan design cues such as the V-motion grille and streamlined boomerang lights.
A true show stopper! It not only gave me confidence to drive in the snow but also made me look good in it!
The perfect ride for this Trendy Latina!
The new Altima interior has a real ‘wow’ factor when you open the doors – sending the message that this is not your typical sedan.
The uplifting interior design also offers a high level of comfort and convenience amenities. And connectivity features are offered – including the standard 7.0-inch Advanced Drive Assist Display.
The Altima AWD came equipped with enhanced NASA-inspired Zero Gravity seat design with dual-density foam and added bolstering for improved holding and support. It had available perforated leather-appointed seat inserts, remote engine start5 and the new available 8-way driver’s seat with memory.
Great Winter Drive
We stopped for a cafe at a small Canadian Coffee shop on our way to Mont Tremblant!
Warm coffee and Canadian pastries! Sooo good! Delicioso!

So Quiet, You Won’t Believe It
The new Altima’s selection of audio and infotainment choices include a Bose® Premium Audio system with nine speakers, including a new digital amplifier with eight channels of custom equalization. Active Noise Cancellation is also available.
So quiet, it put a smile on my face! It was amazing to experience it!
Gorgeous snow outside, quiet and comfortable inside!
