I have been using my BB creams, I must admit, have been loving it, since it is very natural, still gives me skin a finished look, moisturizes, has SPF 20 and it is proven to reduct wrinkles, so I use my night cream with a stronger formula and the BB cream during the day! BB stands for Blemish Balm or Blemish Base, these creams seem like a small miracle. These are one-step products that can protect, conceal, and correct skin texture and tone. CC Creams:
The difference between BB and CC creams is subtle–CC generally stands for “color correcting” and the products are meant to address issues like redness or sallowness (usually with light-diffusing particles), whereas BB creams are like lighter foundation with a few skin care benefits thrown in. “CC cream is a color corrector and will be lighter on the skin. I know, it sounds like ABC for your Skin! Are you ready??
Julep is releasing a “Dynamic Do-All” cream this summer, and it sounds like a BB/CC hybrid. The cosmetics industry was predicting something different for DD creams. Back in November of 2012, a cosmetics industry analyst told Cosmetic Design that a number of DD creams, called “Daily Defense” creams ready to launch, but they aren’t for your face–rather they are “heavy duty body and foot creams.” So it will be interesting to see what Julep did on that category with its forthcoming launch! I can’t wait!
If you are like me, can’t wait, you can pre-order it here
Now with all these options, which will you choose?
This is NOT a compensated post. The opinions are mine and represent what I feel about the products.
