The Pandemic and masks have really changed the way we use and buy beauty products. I must confess I’ve changed my skin care regimen and today I’m going to share Beauty Products While Wearing A Mask with you.
Beauty Products While Wearing A Mask
Masks are changing the way we look at each other and the way we see ourselves as well.
My friend and I met up for breakfast this morning and I asked her, after taking the mask off to get a cup of coffee, is my lipstick ok?
Fearing the lipstick was all over my face due to the mask.
I want to share how the pandemic changed my beauty routine and what products I’ve added, removed from my beauty arsenal to adapt to the mask era.
Ditch The Lipstick
Obvious choice.
I’ve had a couple different colors and brands in 2020 and have not bought a single lipstick since.
Lip balm is my best friend these days! I only put lipstick on when I do a video for work or when I go to a restaurant.
This is my favorite lip balm. Honest has vegan products and it smells sooo good:
Protect Your Skin
Winter and masks are not a great combination for a beautiful skin, especially if you have to wear the mask for long periods.
I have raised my game on moisturizers and night products, to make sure my skin is healthy when it’s time to put that mask on!
I’m a big proponent of applying sunscreen all year. Neutrogena Age Shield 70 is my go to brand.
Love that it is super affordable, it’s oil free and has antioxidants.
I wake up, wash my face and apply it, even if I have no plans to go out!
Evening Skin Care
You know, your skin either gets older or rejuvenates in your sleep.
Why not give it a boost with a good night skin care regimen?
I usually take a shower at night, after my workout, I use a face wash and before bed I apply a new skin treatment I started to use last week, and loving how soft my face feels.
It’s a Mary Kay product- Age Fighting. I received the product to try and I’m loving it:

Inside Out
What you eat and drink also determines how your skin looks.
I’ve increased the amount of water I drink to help with my weight loss goals and to make sure I’m hydrated while being indoors with the heater sucking the life out of my skin.
I also started a new lifestyle regimen, the Keto Program, which has not only helped me lose 16 pounds but also has made a difference on my skin!
You can check out more about Keto HERE.
I also make sure blueberries and strawberries are a part of my diet, even though fruits are not really optimal to the keto lifestyle.
I can’t ignore the power of antioxidants in those fruits and they taste great!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my beauty products and steps I’m taking to take care of my skin while wearing a mask.

It’s so great to find people addressing this issue. I have been wondering how to keep my skin faring okay during the mask crisis. I noticed the area under my eyes where the mask’s greatest pressure sits getting dry and wrinkly lately. It is a sober reminder to moisturise, moisturise, moisturise! Thank you for your tips!
