I have received some of the oils listed on my post for review purpose, but this is not a sponsored post and as usual, all opinions are my own.
Using Natural Essential Oils has been a daily practice for me! There are so many that I love, and today I will be sharing my favorite ones for cooking!
I had to totally change the oils I used to use, since canola and corn oil were not whole 30 compliant! That opened the door for me to explore a whole new world of flavors to enrich my favorite recipes without compromising them!
Avocado Oil
I use avocado oil in a lot of my Hispanic and Brazilian recipes! It gives me that extra kick with omega fatty acids and antioxidants vitamins A & C.
I also love using it as an “egg wash”, before I add flour and breadcrumbs into the mix. One of my favorite uses of Avocado Oil is to use it instead of butter on my batch of cookies.
Coconut Oil
The type I use, melts in the pot like oil, as soon as you place it on the heat!
I love adding it to my cauliflower rice or my seafood recipes for that special coconut touch without overpowering the other flavors. Coconut oil‘s benefits are that it’s loaded with vitamin E and lauric acid.
Olive Oil
I’ve been using it for many years! I love the taste and texture, also love that it’s rich in vitamin E and antioxidants. I never use butter anymore on my dishes, when I want a blend flavor to accent my spices, EVOO is my choice!
Grape Seed Oil
I prefer to use it in the oil format and as a cooking spray. I normally use it for pancakes and sweet dishes, since it has that natural sweetness added to it.
You know I’ve been following a Paleo/Whole 30 approach since Jan 1st this year. The oils listed have helped me cut out some calories and give that extra boost to my pursuit to live a healthier year!
All the oils above are Paleo and Whole 30 compliant, so feel free to try, experiment and let me know if you love them as much as I do!
I’ve looked for brands which had the most pure and organic options, Sky Organics is my absolute favorite for cooking oils!
I’ve noticed most of them will burn faster, so make sure you keep an eye on it!!
Can’t wait to hear all about YOUR favorite oils, as usual, give us a Trendy Shout!
