As an immigrant who had a peaceful, uneventful, great path to citizenship, the story in the movie Between Borders was an eye opener! It specially touched my heart because this is unfortunately the story of so many who seek to make the US as their home!

About the Movie
In the midst of the turmoil of the Soviet Union, the Petrosyan family is outcast wherever they go.
Armenian heritage sets them up for discrimination both at home in Azerbaijan and in Russia.
Based on an incredible true story of faith and hope set amidst great oppression, they find a door in the possibility of exile, hoping that the US becomes the place where they will finally have peace and be able to have the freedom to call it home.

This film stars Elizabeth Tabish, Patrick Sabongui & Elizabeth Mitchell among other great actors.
The movie gives us such a great lesson of faith and resilience! I cried at times just imagining going through the moments they shared in this heartfelt story.
