Breakfast time at our home in the summer is a meal we cherish, since during the school year, breakfast is all about let’s get through it to get ready for school!
During the Summer, we take our time and make it into a family affair! Here are my favorite ways to make breakfast special:

Get The Kids Involved
Once a week we chat about a day a week, when one of us will determine the menu and prepare breakfast. My son just turned 14, so he looooves doing it!
His favorite is to pour Lucky Charms over jelly on toast or top a bowl with yogurt and fruits with Lucky Charms (which we always get at our local Walmart Store) as the final touch. It gives him a sense of responsibility and the pleasure of serving us a delicious breakfast and getting all the praises!
Breakfast in Bed
Sometimes I surprise hubby and son with breakfast in bed with a tray full of delicious breakfast options they love! Why not add that sweet accent to your favorite smoothie bowl? Why not????
Late Start
Sometimes my son likes getting up late and he doesn’t really feel hungry for a big breakfast, so I prepare a smoothie and top it with Lucky Charms, a presentation nobody can resist!! It always puts a smile on his face!!

Lucky Charms in a smoothie is absolutely brilliant. I LOVED Lucky Charms as a child. Now as an adult I tend to buy just cereal marshmallows and skip the cereal all together.

Whenever we buy lucky charms, we’re always left with the cereal and not the marshmallows. Methinks that my children are trying to tell me something for sure. I thought I saw somewhere that they offer an entire box of marshmallows now. I’ll have to check it out and use it on top of cupcakes like you suggest, without wasting the rest of the cereal!

Lucky Charm on its own is definitely a colorful and tasty breakfast experience for kids. It would be nice to vary it with other food and presentation to keep the kids excited.

These are very creative ideas for breakfast! I used to love Lucky Charms as a kid.
Breakfast is the most important meal for me and even am busy, I make sure to have my breakfast time. I don’t breakfast to be in a hurry. I want to enjoy it every bite.
