Our second tent camping trip took us to a beautiful campground and so much to do! Here are our Cape Cod Adventures With The Subaru Outback.
We received the Subaru Outback Touring XT as a media loan, for review purposes, but as usual, all opinions are my own.
Cape Cod Adventures With The Subaru Outback
Let’s start by looking at some of my favorite 2024 Subaru Outback Touring Road Trip Features:
Exterior
Love the adventurous design, ready to brave into the outdoors!
The LED Responsive headlights, fog lights and front design match the “ready to ride” attitude Subaru has!
The taillights blend seamlessly with the great design.
X Mode – traction management system gives you the assurance that when you’re hiking, camping, you have the right vehicle to handle the outdoors!
Satin Chrome Auto – Folding Heating Power Mirrors
Roof Rail with integrated cross bars
18” Alloy Wheels
Interior
The leather wrapped shifter gives a premium elegant feel, complimented by the black and chrome accents.
The 11.6” multimedia navigation system gave us a large map with apps available to make our road trip more enjoyable.
My iPhone was connected and all my favorites were displayed on the Apple Car Play option along with the Google Map.
Also love all the USB Ports
The rear view camera was the perfect feature when we loaded the Subaru to go camping. We had no regular mirror rear view due to all the supplies we packed in the back, but the camera rear view mirror saved the day!
Heated and Cooling Comfortable Seats
The cooling seat is a feature I don’t have on my own SUV, but it is the perfect feature to give you comfort on a summer road trip!
As you know, my back is not the best and yet, the Subaru gave me a comfortable ride and the support to help keep my back and legs rested.

Trunk space
Check out all the space the Subaru Outback gave us! We loaded it to the max!
Fuel Efficiency
We drove to the Cape Cod/Boston Campground, a beautiful trip with amazing fuel efficiency! We averaged 32 miles/gallon! Arrived there with ¼ of the tank left!
The Subaru was right at home!
We set our tent up and enjoyed our meal and an evening by the fire!
Check out that sky!
Day two was time to explore the Cape!
After breakfast we headed to explore the area!
We started with Plymouth! My first visit as a citizen! Love the rich history of immigrants who built this nation!
The Mayflower replica is always a great reminder that this country was built by immigrants and all the rich history since they arrived here!
Then it was time to have a lobster roll, my favorite meal in the Cape!
We went back to the Kennedy Monument and enjoyed a few minutes by the beach!
Visited Chatham Lighthouse, Downtown & Explore the area!
Last stop, scenic drive to the Cape Canal!
Dinner back at the campground to enjoy a beautiful night
Fire pit & S’mores were in order! S’mores at the campground are one of our favorite camping activities!
We’re enjoyed our short road trip so much!
I hope you enjoyed following it all!
Have you been to Cape Cod? Not ready to travel there? Save for Later!

I think an outback will be my next vehicle. I drive a legacy BL5. Old but gold and I think when I want an upgrade I gotta have me the outback. Quite inspiring. Thanks

Hhhhmmm….at that rate of consumption and leg room, I say this outback isn’t so bad. I also love the entertainment screen at the front.

What a gorgeous car! That’s some great fuel mileage, too. I’ve heard they’re fantastic in snowy climates, but unfortunately it’s still a bit out of my budget at the moment – I can dream, though!
Beautiful Touches
This Suburu is a beautiful car! It looks like it provides premium comfort through long distance traveling, for sure.

I love the Subaru Outback; I love the spaciousness of it and that trunk seems huge. I keep telling my husband it’s time for a new car maybe I’ll look into the Subaru Outback, it’s such a sleek vehicle and that 11.6” multimedia navigation system is awesome. I love how easy it is to see and display your destination. P.S….I love visiting Cap Code.

This sounds like a fabulous trip. I’ve never driven a Subaru but I’ve heard they are great cars. I’m not in the market for a new car at the moment but I’ll consider a Subaru next time. Gotta pay off my current car and house first.
