Yesterday I went to a supermarket that sells fresh seafood, prime price but really fresh, bought large shrimp and clams. My goal was to make them as an appetizer, as I usually do, the way they serve at the Brazilian Cabanas, barzinho de praia ou cabana de praia, so I placed the clams which came already cleaned, in a pot, covered in water, 1 sliced onion (not diced, sliced), 2 small tomatoes, 1 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive oil and cooked until they open, when they open, drain and serve with some chopped cilantro on top.
Ingredients:
1 dozen clams
1 small onion, sliced
2 small tomatoes, sliced and seeds removed
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Chopped cilantro
Preparation: read above.
Secreto: Cook a little less time and remove, drain, place a mixture of butter, parmesan cheese, garlic paste and breadcrumbs and bake shells for 5 min, you will have the best baked clams ever!! Bom Apetite!
