This post is in collaboration with Drive The District Program but all opinions are my own.
We started making plans for our Cape Cod trip months before it happened! On the agenda, visit Nantucket Island for the first time, eat lots of fresh seafood and take a cruise along the ocean view drive! The new great surprise added to our trip was the 2013 Chevy Camaro SS convertible loaned to us by Drive the District program! It added a whole new meaning to a fun vacation at the beach!
I couldn’t wait to check it out!
The car arrived and the next day, we were on our way through 5 States: NJ, NY, Connecticut, Rhode Island and finally Massachusetts! Enjoying the music and the breeze on our way there, I took this shot of George Washington Bridge, which I have crossed many times, but never had a chance to fully enjoy its magnitude through the large windshield, I couldn’t resist! This is what we saw, pure beauty!
First day on the Island, family time and of course, visiting the canal, always our first stop, then favorite local places in Dennis and Hyannis!
Next stop was Nantucket Island, we were sad to leave our ride behind but the visit was something we had planned for over a year! Of course, lobster roll was on the menu! Nothing brings a smile on my face more than the smell of fresh seafood, which evokes childhood memories of growing up in Brazil!
On our way back, we stopped at Craigville Beach to get our feet wet, walk on the sand and just enjoy the gorgeous sunset!
Nothing replaces the memories of cruising the beaches, top down, inhaling the perfect blend of beauty and nature! Our ride made my favorite spot in the US even more special! It will be hard to return without riding in our short term asset! This trip was just perfect, one of the best summer memories I will cherish for years to come! It was so special, it made it so hard to say good bye; well maybe not good-bye but perhaps a see you later feeling!
I really enjoyed sharing my trip memories with you, (hope you followed my tweets and FB updates!) can’t wait to hear what you think of our trip and my gorgeous ride!

How fun is this! I would love to cruise around in a Camaro to explore Florida. It looks like you had a lot of fun in your city.

What a nice looking car! It looks super sporty and stylish. I’d drive it for sure.

Nice ride! Camero’s have changed so much, I love this model! Wish my family of 8 could fit in one! LOL! Great pics, you look like a model in your nice ride!

When my father was younger he bought a 1967 Chevy Camaro. Then someone broke into it and stripped it. I was sad because he was saving the car for me!

The new Camaro is about the only Chevy I really like. The design is great – so much better than their other vehicles.

My mom has a Z28 Camaro and I learned how to drive in it lol! Looks like you had a fun trip!

That is one sweet ride. The Camaro is the flagship of sports cars, in my opinion. I can’t think of a better way to enjoy a day than cruising in one.

Love being on the beach and enjoying fresh seafood, because it’s so hard to find in the Midwest where we live. Looks like that sweet Chevy make your trip even more memorable!
