Cadillac has given the Cadillac Escalade Platinum Edition 2015 for review purposes, but all opinions are my own.
I had the pleasure of driving and taking a 2015 Cadillac Escalade Platinum to Ohio! The funny thing is that Cadillac in Portuguese means, hips, I thought that was the perfect translation to define how this amazing SUV hugged the roads and curves with elegance and style, the same way a beautiful skirt perfectly hugs our hips!

I couldn’t wait to drive it to North Jersey, to attend a blogging fashion event! Such a comfortable ride! I always put my make up on before events, to give me that fresh look, so the large mirrors seem like a small detail but it is so important for busy women on the go and adjustable lights were definitely a bonus:
The power retractable assist step was also an amazing feature and my heels said Gracias for that extra detail added, having women in consideration, who love heels and SUVs, that perfect welcome mat! I love it so much that I call it my heel platform! Any vehicle that is sensitive to my comfort and needs is a winner!
We drove to Ohio the next day where I had a speaking engagement at a BloggyCon in Cedar Point!
What a difference it made, all the features and comfort the Cadillac offered made our 7 long ride not only enjoyable, but also created family memories while visiting so many amazing places on the way and while we were there! We could not wait to get a bordo to experience a new site, have a meal at a local restaurant, enjoy the beauty the location had to offer!
Another favorite feature was the massage, available in both front seats, a great feature that allowed me to enjoy 3 different massage levels and lumbar support while driving.
I also love the gauge display, which allows you to see different parts of the car right from the steering wheel! It has a GPS display in there too! Love that!
The Cooling Compartment, a personal favorite, which is great to keep your drinks cool! I drive so much, having this feature in a vehicle, would allow me to keep fruit and beverages fresh, while I attend meetings and drive to my client’s offices for social media coaching sessions!
The 3 DVD players in the back kept my son busy and happy, he kept asking: can we invite my friends to ride with us ??? It also had individual stereo speakers on each seat.
My son is really tall and he couldn’t stop talking about how much leg room he had and how great the back seat was for nap time! He kept saying, mom, no other ride will be like this Cadillac, which made me smile!
The wireless charger is used just by placing your phone on the tray, but it does not work with my iphone 6+, neither with my husband’s Samsung Galaxy.
The trunk window, opening to allow me to place bags while continuing to shop, was a great feature! It made my life easier and gave me an extra incentive to continue shopping, without having to hold all of the bags and you know, how much I love shopping! The trunk space also helped me bring extra choices of outfits, a fashion blogger’s dream! So happy to be able to have choices instead of having to fit it all in a small suitcase, which is what I normally do when I fly!
Some details:
- It does 17 miles per gallon in the city and 21 on the highway, but we were able to enjoy an even better performance
- Beautiful color, design, interior and the large 22 “ tires
- Cadillac
- It had amazing pick up on the highway!!! Love the roar on the engine, responding when needed!
- The price tag matches the style and extras: Total Cadillac is 94,565 and standard price is 91,875
The Escalade amazed all of us, setting the bar pretty high and it impacted others as well; I was extremely happy to hear from a Marketing Manager of one of the largest National Retail Stores in the Nation, that my Social Media feed motivated her family to buy a Cadillac, even before the review was published!

We are getting a new vehicle later this year. I love the room and the many features on this one.
The car has so many bells, whistles and great features that really live up to what one expects from the Cadillac name.
That is my kind of ride! We have a family of 8, I would love to travel in this SUV.
The car is really nice. But ahhh the Cedar Point sign. I do love Cedar Point. 🙂

My dad would love this Cadillac. I really like how spacious it is and the cooling compartment is a major plus.

What a cool car. I just got a new one this month a 2015 Nissan.
Oh that’s so different to see the map in the speedo like that.
That would take a lot to get used to that’s for sure.
Funny how we get used to it one way and then when it’s changed its so foreign!
Cadillac is a nice line of cars that is for sure. My son-in-law used to have one…and it was very nice.
