Every year we get involved in back-to-school programs. I feel that we’re so fortunate to be able to choose a private school for our son and buy the supplies needed and that we should pay it forward by helping others! If you are in the process of choosing a private school for your child, then you may want to research “how much are private schools?” “How do we apply to private schools?” and so on. This will give you a better understanding.
That’s why I was so excited to have been invited by Aldi to participate in this great campaign, where influencers will use their voice to do good and share back to school supplies, through Aldi’s generosity, with children who need them!
I asked my son to be involved and took him shopping. He chose all the items and proudly packed them to be sent to the charity we chose to donate them to! We chose to buy the more expensive items such as backpacks and an insulated lunch box, which are usually a burden for parents on a tight budget, along with usual smaller items.
My son eagerly packed the backpack and helped us get it ready for donation! We chose a local charity: “Angels of God” – which represents a huge outreach for families and children in our area! Their back to school drive has helped hundreds of children! We’re so happy to be a part of it and use Aldi’s generous supply donation to put a smile on a child’s face!
The experience not only taught my son we need to give back and help others, but also taught him about humility and opened his eyes to the fact that not all children can go to stores and choose the back to school items they desire, without worrying about the price tag – something he does every year.
I wanted to thank Aldi for allowing us to be a part of such a beautiful initiative and look forward to collaborating in the near future, because I am always here to support Brands who take the initiative to give back to the community they serve!
Aldi was already a brand I loved and respected, but this initiative made me appreciate them even more!
Have you done any back to school donations? Are you finished back to school shopping? If not, there’s still time to Shop at your local Aldi’s Store!
As usual, give us a Trendy Shout!

I love how Aldi has the best finds! Those middle aisles with non-food goods are my favorite ever.

I love seeing others give back! I also give back to my kids school every year! Last year my hubby and I loaded their school with paper and pencils. What a great feeling it is!

I don’t really have supplies to buy any more. For my youngest all I have to do is go through his pants drawer.

We like to fill a backpack up with school supplies and donate it. I send the kids to school with extra supplies to give the teacher in case a student needs something.

That is such a wonderful post! We do something like this around the Holidays. We collect toys and other items and bring them to our police department. They run a program every year.

It pains me so much to know that so many kids don’t have the opportunity to do back-to-school shopping. When we go, I always have the kids choose something for themselves and then something for a kid in need. Then we donate it all to the school for those who need it. It helps keep things real

Before we had children, we used to donate school supplies to our local DFACS office. It was so hard because no one really accepted them in our area. Which I found odd, because we have many people here in our community that need that kind of help.
