If you have been following my blog, you know that when my husband’s job cut ALL the overtime, we went from 6 figures just coming through his job to low 3 figures, his income was cut 60% and we had to make it work. I was no longer driving my brand new BMW, I was no longer buying shoes every day, my son was no longer getting toys every minute and yearly trips to Brazil were something from the past! We made it work and I boosted my business, doubling the income and hours in just 3 months!
We cut as much as we could and kept our 3,100 sqf home in an upscale neighborhood and our son in a private Christian School and paid our bills, so I was grateful to be able to keep the things that were truly important to us! Whether life brings financial changes or not, it’s important to have a budget, to save and to make smart financial decisions, regardless of your income, lessons I’ve learned the hard way and that will be shared with you by my friend Amiyrah Martin!
That is why I am so excited to introduce you to her from 4hats and frugal, and her new business!
