Anyone that knows me, know that I have not been to fast food restaurant in 3 years and counting! My family loves hamburgers, so I have found a way to use my mother in law’s recipe and make it even healthier and saborosa! The Flax
Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
1/2 onion chopped in very small pieces (I own an onion slicer)
1 egg
2 tablespoons of flaxseed (I have the powder kind)
Cumin, salt, freshly ground pepper to taste (I just add a pinch of each)
1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, make hamburgers, cover with transparent seal and refrigerate for at least one hour to blend flavors and get the hamburgers firm enough to be cooking without breaking up. I grilled them but you may also cook them inside during cold weather!
