We went camping last week to Cape Cod, we had the most amazing time! One of the many trips we have planned this Summer!
While there, we did so many things:
We went to the Beach
Played Sports
We walked through Provincetown, enjoying the shops, restaurants, seaport and beautiful ocean!
Took a long walk in the Cape’s most famous bike trail all the way to Coast Guard Beach
Enjoyed family time with local relatives and rock skipping time!
But we had a small accident, after the walk on the bike trail, my son fell while walking and we had to help him by reaching for CURAD®, which is what we always do when our loved ones are in need of some TLC on a hot, summer day!
Whether we’re hiking, playing in the backyard, relaxing at the beach or walking all over the city, CURAD® SoothePlus™ products are our must have help, when our loved ones need it!
I want to share that the new CURAD SoothePlus™ product line infused with naturally soothing ARM & HAMMER™ Baking Soda helps eliminate bacterial odors.
This line is perfect for taking care of your loved ones. Whether you care for your aging parents, young children, or both, the newest innovative products from CURAD® allow you to provide the most soothing care possible!
When life needs advanced healing, call on the brand that is Hospital Approved & Life Tested™.
Here are more tips on how to take care of small accidents while enjoying the summer:
Always be prepared
We always carry a small first aid kit wherever we go! We had one in the RV and took one to the beach!!
Act Fast
We always act immediately, whether it’s small cut, a tick, a bruise or a broken bone, the best course of action is to act fast and take care of the loved one who needs help!
Minimize Impact
We always try to minimize what happened by comforting our kids in a way that calms them down, not stressing them more than they need to be. Over stressing and blowing things out of proportion, won’t help anybody! Trust me, I’m super protective, but take it easy when bad things happen. This is the best way to assess the situation and bring the help your family needs.
How do you take care of your loved ones, when accidents happen while enjoying the Summer?
I can’t wait to hear what you think ! As usual, give us a Trendy Shout!
That is so awesome that they have Baking Soda in it! I definitely need to add some of these to our first aid kit!
Oh wow I definitely need curad in my emergency kit. I love that they have Baking Soda in it…that’s definitely new.
You just reminded me that I need to make a first aid kit before we travel and to have on hand for summer. I have Curad bandages in my medicine cabinet already.
I just got so excited when I started to read this post – not because of your son’s injury, obviously… but I’m from Cape Cod! P-town is one of my favorite places in the entire world 🙂 I hope you had a fantastic trip, and that your son’s knee is on the mend!
That would be great to include in a family medical emergency kit while traveling. We are going to do a road trip two weeks from now, so I better stock up on Curads.
I have two little boys who can be wild and carefree, which means they also get hurt on a regular basis. I will keep this is mind the next time I need to run to the store for first aid. Thank you so much for you review.
Curad is such a classic brand. I never go for another brand when it comes to boo boos!
With two boys for grandchildren, it seems we’re always reaching for the bandaids or first aid kit. It seems like someone is always going a million miles and hour, and thus inviting little mishaps. In fact, we keep small first aid kits not only in the house, but also in the glove box of our car.
With two little boys, we are always dealing with falls and bruises while out and about. These are some great tips on how to minimize the tears and stress of small accidents this summer!
I was such a clumsy child (who am I kidding, I’m a clumsy adult, too), that my parents (and now my husband) made sure they knew where every ER in the vicinity was. Guess I should put together a just-in-case kit of my own! 🙂
This sounds like a great product to have on hand while travelling, particularly in the summer when everyone is active and small accidents are more likely to happen. I’ll have to remember to add some to my first aid kit.
This should be among the items included in my first aid kit. You can never tell when it becomes handy.
I usually have some first aid kit with me when we go trekking but nothing much else. Now with the baby I need to make a revised one.
I have not been to Provincetown in 20 years! It looks just as charming as it always did!
Small accidents can put a dent in a getaway if no first aid treatment kits are available. I’ve used the product you mentioned and it helped my child.
We spent with kinds there at three days. During the summer vacation we were enjoy the climate of Ooty. Amazing experience. Wonderful room, heart-felt services, caring and comforting attitude. Wonderful place to spend summer vacation with family. But during that vacation due to change in weather I suffered a lot. Cause of that my half mood was spoiled. I don’t want to face that again. Great tips! I am definitely gonna follow this.
Amazing! Looks like you had a really great day! It’s always best to be prepared. Thanks for sharing your tips!
We always make sure to take a first aid kit with us wherever we go. There is always someone who gets a small scrape!
I’ve used CURAD products many times, it’s great to have them ready for any accidents. We get allot of those with my three active kids. 🙂 Also love visiting Provincetown, MA!
When we go on trips we carry a first aid kit with us. We make sure to have it fully loaded before we leave. You never know when you may need it.
You were in one of my most favorite places in the world! These small accidents are why I always have a first aid kit in my purse! Curad is definitely one of our go to brands.
My son got a reed stuck in his foot our vacation. It was crazy hard to deal with. I admire your approach.

I keep some Curad bandages with me when I travel for such occasions. You never know when someone will have an accident and need them.
Great idea! It is always good to be prepared, especially on holidays. My sister cut open her toe in Bali and didn’t have anything to clean it and ended up with a nasty infection and having to have an operation on her toe 🙁
I love PTown! It looks like you had a great time… and SMART to always be prepared with a first aid kit, no doubt!
Sorry about your son’s injury. Cape Cod looks amazing! I hope to go there one day! What a fun family vacation. The beach is always a refreshing place to spend your time.
Curad Products would be an excellent addition to the first aid kit. It’s really important to act fast in case of accidents.

We always have a ton of bandaids on hand. I hadn’t heard of this particular Curad product or a bandaid with baking soda in it.
We love the Cape and are pretty local to it! I am going on a road trip and just packed away my bandages.
Bumps and bruises are fairly unavoidable, especially if you have kids, these are great to carry in your bag/car.
I think I have first aid kits almost everywhere! In my house, in my car, in my purse. For some reason bandages help make it all better so I make sure to keep them in stock. We love Curad!!
I have a small first aid kit I keep in my bag for emergencies. I will have to pick up some CURAD SoothePlus products I love that they are infused with baking soda
I love that these are so easy to take with you. They would fit nicely in our first aid box that we take with us when we camp.
We always keep Curad products on hand in our first aid kit. Our family is clumsy so we get a lot of use from them haha!
Great suggestions! I always travel with a small first aid kit, especially when the kids come along. It is stocked with wound care essentials, as well as ibuprofen, antacid and gas relief medicine, just in case.
Wow! You had a vast on your trip. Sorry for the boo boo, but your had your first aid kit ready!!!
I’ve never heard of the Soothe Plus line from Curad. I will have to look for them. We travel with a first aid kit everywhere because I’m accident prone. Those gauze pads especially will come in handy.
Last year we went to Maryland and my daughter burned her face roasting marshmallows. I wish we had carried our own first aid because it took a while to get it from the hotel staff.
Whoa I’ve never heard of these! We always keep a first aid kit with us because my guys are very active, but I’ll have to look into these.
Awwww.Provincetown. I remember that place. I went there back in 2010. Long time ago. But yes, when I go on long trips, I always take a first aid box with me. Essential thing to have.
as a mom of 3 sons – yes yes yes. I always have to be prepared for a skinned knee (or worse). Great tips on the first aid kit! happy camping this summer!
It sounds like you had the most amazing time out and about and exploring and you are right, making sure you have a first aid kit on hand is a must.
I always carry a tiny first aid kit with me that contains the bare essentials. Keep everything in a sunglasses pouch in my purse.
First aid is so important especially with kids! Glad you were able to find something that works!
Great tips! I definitely wouldn’t want something small slowing down my summer adventures!
Most definitely, small things can become big things and ruin a whole day if you aren’t prepared.
We take a first aid kit with us wherever we go. You never know what could happen!
