I remember listening to I Surrender All not too long after I moved to the US. It was one of my first hymns. Growing up Catholic, I had never heard a hymn before. The concept of surrendering was also foreign in my control freak mind.
God allowed some trials and lessons in my life that caused me to change my outlook on life and adopt a posture of surrendering ALL.
