I started blogging in 2006 with the goal to share my passion for foreign languages, inspire parents to share those languages with their children and grow my foreign language school – EasyLearnLanguages in NJ!
In my first year, I was contacted by brands, offering me toys and products to be shared with my readers! I was just amazed they would do that!! That opened the doors to a whole new world for me and a new business! A brand new business can be a daunting experience but it is worth it if you believe in what you are doing. In addition, understanding when you should turn to professionals for assistance, like middle singapore for accounting services or SEO specialists to increase your search ranking, can be invaluable when you start a new business. To keep up with the digital trends, you would have to establish your presence on all digital platforms as well. Creating your own website for it, and using all the resources available to you, could be crucial in this process. The world is open to you, that’s why I went and grabbed it.
10+ years later, I closed my other business to blog full time and use my passion to motivate my communities to learn about new things and follow new adventures with me! No matter where you are in your business journey, there are always new things that can be learned, especially if you are based online and want to keep up with the digital platforms you are on. You can utilize educational support with a basic digital marketing course, business forums, etc. so you are always on top of what your business needs.
So many people and networks have helped me pave the way and put me where I am! I would miss somebody if I started naming them all! But the reason why I am sharing this #TBT post is to reflect on the power of networks and how they have been instrumental in matching my brand with amazing partnerships! You know what they say: you need to network to get more work!! Well, the networks I am about to share will do it for you!
If you are new to blogging and are yet to set up a site, it is possible to create a cool blog using WordPress (source) so you will want to start with that. But after that, I would highly encourage you to check them out! The same goes if you are a seasoned blogger but never really thought about monetizing. I know what you’re thinking….you don’t have the numbers! I’ve had so many opportunities when my numbers were what I call negative numbers! 🙂 So don’t let it, stop you!
