I love visiting Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania all year long. The gardens and rich history of the DuPont Family embedded in those walls are unforgettable. Today I will share my favorite spots while visiting Longwood Gardens In The Winter.
Longwood Gardens In The Winter
The DuPont House
Let’s start with the DuPont House ( check name)
You’ll enter the property and see a courtyard with a majestic Christmas Tree and an entrance to the parts we have access at the Dupont House.
I love the Kitchen!
His Library is also beautiful and shows a video of his life and history of the property!
The Conservatory
My absolute favorite! During Christmas time the Christmas trees dressed with poinsettia skirts and surrounded by beautiful ornaments, some made by local children.
The Party Hall with retro decor is amazing, isn’t it?
Italian Garden
The Water Show
Love how Christmas songs come to life while the water jets dance along with the music!
The Lake Area
The Train Garden
The garden has miniature buildings replicas of some of the buildings around the property.
The Lego Tree
A Christmas Tree with Lego Bird Houses!
The Gorgeous Tree Path
The Light “Tunnel”
Love passing under the “light tunnel”.
Tree Houses
There are a few tree houses for kids to climb and explore but this is my favorite one!
Special Performances
Longwood has special performances all year! The performances during the holidays are special ones!
We’ve watched some carolers sing outside the conservatory! So beautiful!
Food Court
Enjoy locally crafted brews, dinner and/or dessert and the best hot cocoa I’ve ever tried.
We come back every year! Our neighbor is a member and is always so gracious to invite us!
You can buy tickets HERE. I highly recommend buying tickets in advance, especially during the holidays.
You can read about last year’s visit HERE.
Plenty of Parking but they limit the admission numbers, so plan ahead.

What a beautiful place to spend an afternoon with the family. I love visiting gardens with my daughter; its kind of like our place for peace.

This place looks beautiful. The light tunnel is especially fascinating to me. The rest of it reminds me of the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

I would love to take the family to Longwood Gardens. It’s like if you combined a Hallmark movie setting and a Christmas postcard.
