I had a chance to preview Lost On A Mountain In Maine and it is a story I will never forget. As an avid hiker, the experience terrified me. But as a Christian, the message of hope and resilience was the most important lesson I learned from watching this real life story.

You know my husband and I hike often and getting lost is one of my concerns. My husband was a boy scout, so he’s well equipped with survival skills. He also has an amazing sense of direction but I can’t imagine going through what that boy did and surviving it all!
The inspiring true story of 12-year-old Donn Fendler who, separated from his family by a fast-moving storm, must fight to stay alive while lost for nine-days in the remote wilderness of northern Maine.
Donn’s disappearance captures national headlines and sparks a massive search effort attracting hundreds of volunteers, including his own father who fears he may never see his son again.

Like you I do always worry about getting lost when out hiking. Thankfully I’d never go on my own and my husband has a great sense of direction and skills like your husband. But this sounds like a good movie, even if it may put me off going on intense walks haha x
