We were invited by Woodloch Resort to enjoy a weekend of beautiful memories, in the midst of all that is going on, but as usual, all opinions are my own.
You know I’ve been social distancing since March and only taking trips where I was sure my family would be safe and we could have fun while doing it! Today, I’ll share all the memories we’ve made at the Woodloch Resort.

Resort Responsibly
I know you’re probably thinking: I’m not sure about a hotel and people I don’t know around me and a dining room…..I’m here to tell you I was at first, but the Resort Responsibly concept introduced by Woodloch gave me the peace of mind to relax and enjoy our experience.
Love the concept and how they’ve gone above and beyond to make sure we felt not only safe, but we could also enjoy the activities they have to offer without worrying about it!
ÄŸŸ Masks required inside all buildings and when not being able to social distance outdoors.
ÄŸŸReduced resort booking capacity to accommodate Covid requirements.
ÄŸŸDining room with tables at least 6′ apart.
ÄŸŸCleaning attractions after being used by guests and limited capacity brought even more safety to the fun!

Kayaking/Boating on the Private Lake
Hubby and I had a blast kayaking, while the boys grabbed a paddle boat to explore!
If you too choose to boat, make sure you seek some professional boating tips for emergency situations before starting the sail. You might think having a skilled sailor by your side would eliminate any risks but having a few pieces of advice in your subconscious brain would definitely help you act actively, just in case!

You can take a boat ride around the lake and enjoy the scenery!
Love that we booked the ride on the app and had the boat all to ourselves, no worries about social distancing!
Evening Shows/Activities
They had a wide variety of social distancing activities, from Bingo, DJ in the dark (outdoors), Magic & Comedy Shows and so much more!
They gave us a reason to get out of our suite and explore every night!
Most activities run through the fall, as long as the weather stays nice!
Our Edgewater Suite was just wonderful!
We stayed in a Lake View spacious suite, perfect for teens to have their own space to hang out and for us to have ours as well. Two bathrooms are a must have when you have teens! Here are some highlights:
Meals
I know you’re wondering about meals and social distancing.
Every meal, different options, flavor & peace of mind, knowing the restaurant is at reduced capacity and all the steps are taken to make sure we are safe! It is so important for restaurants to implement this, especially in these times where we are all nervous to be around anyone. It is important before taking any trip currently to see if places you are eating at are implementing social distance rules and safety protocols. They should say this on their website, and if not, then they may want to rectify this by recruiting a Restaurant Website Design Company to help them showcase this to potential customers as many people do want to know that they are being safe.
The resort offers many options as far as meals:
You can opt for a meal plan which includes amazing indoor options on a set schedule. We had that option with 3 meals included!

They’ve even catered to my son’s love for pickles!
Dinner
Loved the vegetarian lasagna!
Desserts! Oh my!
The tables are set at least 6′ apart and the restaurant never seemed to be crowded
You can opt for one meal a day and use the snack bar or cafe for breakfast, pool restaurant/grill and other options on the property during the day!
You can also choose to explore the area and have the freedom to have some of your meals off property! Your choice!

We felt the resort went above and beyond to ensure our safety!
We loved it so much, we’re already planning our next visit!

I really love staycations like this, especially during pandemic! I wonder if they re-invented their hotel space. I also would love to know if they are doing 100% capacity or just 50? Thanks for sharing and I’m glad you had fun!
The whole resort looks so good, especially the lake area. Glad that they implement COVID safety guidelines, to make sure their guests and employees are safe. I can’t wait to travel as well.

I look at all the photos and read your writing. It looks like the resort and hotel are really nice. Food looks tasty, too. And you all really enjoy your vacation. It is very pleasant indeed, when creating memory with the people we care about. I hope one day I can come to this place. Your writing as my reference for coming to Woodloch Resort and maybe I will consider staying in the same hotel.
