Every Fall my husband and I select items in his wardrobe for donation as my excuse to take him shopping for a few pieces to bring more style to his closet. If your husband is like mine, updating his wardrobe is not on his priority list, but I feel like it’s my duty to help him with that, having a great reason for a special date, since we always grab coffee or dinner after our shopping spree!
So this year, we decided to go to my favorite city, NYC and enjoy an afternoon date time at my favorite store: Macy’s – and not only enjoy our shopping time but also check newest arrivals and so much more!

I really like that Macy’s has an event geared towards men’s fashion. Not all department stores put an emphasis on the men, so this is great to see, and it definitely makes shopping for the men in our lives a little more exciting.
We don’t live anywhere near NYC, but we do have a local Macy’s that we love shopping at! We always look forward to their great deals each season! 🙂

My fiancee is a very simple kind of guy. He is extremely picky on the shirts he will wear and they are typically plain and no color, usually black in color. He also only wears black dress pants or work cargo pants, which I’m also ok with. I don’t think after 6 years I could adjust to him wearing colors or other styles. This is a great event though, I will definitely let my dad know.
My husband has no problem purging his closet a couple times a year, but I always have to drag him to the store to get his wardrobe back up to date! I definitely take it on as if it’s my duty, too!

I love Macys. Everytime we visit the US we look for one. And men always have so many more styles of clothing to select from, I think.

We have a Macys near us and I love going there when they have a sale – it is always great fun to walk away with armfuls of savings.
Macy’s really is a great place to find quality and stylish clothing for men. I usually shop there for my stepson and husband at Christmas time!
I wish there was a Macy’s in my area!! I have always loved their ads but I live in the home of Dillards so I don’t ever see that happening.
