2017 was such an amazing year! So many blessings and firsts for me!
I want to start 2018 with gratitude, which is the first step towards more amazing things happening in years to come! I am truly grateful and humbled by opportunities I ‘m not sure I truly deserve … but I am with the same humble attitude letting God know: I’ll show up, I’m ready!
Some opportunities represented challenges, stepping out of my comfort zone … they came in moments, which were not the best in my life and sometimes I even thought about not doing them … but I stepped up and moved on and said “YES” to uncharted territory!
I usually share a yearly recap – and since 2017 was one full of blessings, I decided to share my 10 best things of 2017 which impacted my love for what I do and work as an influencer!
1. Being nominated an #OMAGINSIDER
Being a part of a small circle of amazing people who live and breath love and support!
2. Having been featured on a Pandora ad on Oprah Magazine!
That was a vision board moment exponentially increased! From a fairly tale trip, working with top professionals in the industry to the final product which was way beyond any dream I had! So truly proud of this work and humbled that the magazine and the team trusted me with this opportunity and last but not least, the chance to become close to Misty and meet Tonya, whom I now consider, sisters!
3. Having had the honor to work with 94 brands –
being an ambassador for 12 of them! I truly love and cherish those relationships, but Best Buy, Prudential and Disney are brands which are near and dear to my heart. I hope to continue to receive their trust and represent the brands in 2018!
4. Having been invited to speak at 4 national conferences really was a dream come true!
I had spoken before, but the new invites reaffirmed a long term dream which is to empower women to be ambitious, to grow, to do more and be more! They also renewed my confidence that I have a message to share … this was after a network owner sent me a message explaining why I couldn’t speak at her conference: “have you seen the caliber of the speakers”? Her message crushed my spirit, but I got back up and continued to lift my voice, because I knew the right doors would be open for me! The past year confirmed that!
5. Having had the opportunity to grow my work in the movie industry
and having received amazing opportunities from studios to attend press events, which were not only amazing but also helped me grow as a professional! My spotlight goes to SONY, which was bar none, the studio who really believed in me and allowed me to show my love for movies and the industry while enjoying such beautiful events in LA, NYC and Hawaii.
6. Having the humbling privilege to have received over $ 30,000 in products,
which not only enhanced my life and my family’s lives, but also helped me be a better blogger! I could spend the whole day listing products, but my Sony Camera is definitely my favorite in 2017 and I have to thank Best Buy and Sony for it .. also my fridge, I talk to it every day 🙂 – also a Best Buy and Samsung campaign!
7. The opportunity to be featured as a spokesperson for the NY Auto Show
alongside some well known names in the industry was another highlight for me! As an Auto lover and a motor press association member, that experience and sharing my love for cars really motivated me to continue serving such a great industry!
8. Having been invited to Oprah’s favorite things 2017,
being a VIP guest and having had tequila with Oprah was a dream moment for me! A Vision Board moment I had waited for a few years to come true! You know I’ve been talking about how much I love her since I moved here in 2001! Work with her team and the magazine had been on my VB for many years! That event was the validation moment and the proof that dreams do come true and that the universe conspires to give it all to you in ways way better than you ever imagined!
9. The Auto Industry, having invited me to some of the most fun events
I’ve ever been in my entire life! A special shout to Nissan, Mazda and Hyundai, for having allowed me to attend many of their events this past year!
10. A Huge Thank YOU to all the networks, to all the PR professionals
who trusted me to amplify and share the brand’s message! So many I couldn’t single out anybody, but a special gracias to Dime Media, who believed in me more than any other network in 2017!
As I’ve said, so many blessings I could write a 2000 word post with 50+ pictures! But my heart really wanted to highlight some special people, brands and moments that REALLY, REALLY made my year special! Those moments elevated me as a professional and human being!
I truly hope to continue to honor their love, trust and respect and want to invite you to follow my journey in 2018!

That’s so great that you have been able to work with all of those great brands and be featured in things by Oprah and getting more involved in movie promotions. I am early on in my journey so just starting to work with some brands, but I definitely aspire to be doing many of the things you do, aside from the car stuff. I know it’s weird, but I’ve never been a huge car guy. Anyway, keep up the good work. You are doing amazing.
