Last week I had a chance to experience some great Hyundai vehicles in California and spent a lot of time Navigating The Hyundai Tucson 2025 and some surprise rides!
I was invited to attend a Hyundai Launch Event in California to learn more about the vehicle and drive it.
Navigating The Hyundai Tucson 2025
The Hyundai Tucson 2025 can’t be placed in a box, but I can tell you that it is a sporty, agile and full of upgrades vehicle for a driver that is on the go during the week, but loves to explore the outdoors and take local roadtrips as well.
That lifestyle is perfectly complimented by the features I will highlight:
Exterior
I love the diamond pattern on the sides which looks like it is an extension of the taillights.
There’s a focus on outdoors and you already know how much I appreciate the rugged fascia design and the dark finishes throughout.
Spacious Trunk
Interior
The Panoramic Sunroof
It is a must have feature for me, and you know that by now!
A true outdoor ready vehicle needs to bring the sense of outdoors in!
An expansive interior gives you all the leg room you’ll want/need and more!
Tech brings improvements to make it easy to look:
Wireless Charging
Curved Wide Screen
Column shifter to free up room in the center console for great things like the wireless charger and your new trendy bag or your favorite lipstick!
Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto easily connected
Touch free entry using your phone or a smart watch
Blue link is complimentary for the first owner of the vehicle
Eye camera with forward attention warning
That featured would activate, even though my driving partner was paying attention to the road. I will let you judge if it’s a great safety feature or not.
I personally like SmartSense Safety Features on the Hyundai Tucson 2025 that allow us to have technology on our side and be able to enjoy the ride, !
Bose Sound System
The Bose Premium Audio gives you the soundtrack for your adventures on board the vehicle.
The upper dashboard tray is a great storage solution to have some items at arms reach on both sides.
Comfortable seats with Cooling and heating features are a must for me in a vehicle!
The interior design shared a modern mix of materials
Driving The Tucson 2025
We left our hotel, driving the Hyundai Tucson Limited PHEV, from The Inn At The Mattei’s Tavern in Los Olivos, California to experience local lifestyle, from highways, mountains, sharp curves, narrow roads and it gave us a quiet, comfortable, smooth & responsive drive.
I was surprised by how quiet it was, allowing us to enjoy the outdoors without all the noise that comes with it!
The Hyundai Tucson XRT handled the off-road circuit well with some great features such as control descent, giving you the confidence to hit your unpaved path and go hiking without having to bring a 4×4 to tag along.
It was definitely trail-ready! I just wished it had a front/under camera to help me to easily navigate some parts of the off-road loop.
Breaks responded well, when I met a few friends leaving the loop! I think he/she approved the ride!
In case you’re wondering, the Hyundai Tucson 2025 offers price points starting at $28,355 to $47,090 for the 2025 Hyundai Tucson PHEV SEL.
Fuel Economy :
The EPA estimates that the Tucson Hybrid is good for up to 38 mpg city and 38 mpg highway; the plug-in-hybrid model earned a rating of 80 MPGe combined and delivered 33 miles of electric-only driving in the EPA’s test.
The gas-only Tucson is rated for 23 mpg city and 29 mpg highway in all-wheel drive and 25/32 in front-wheel drive.

If you are looking for a reliable, affordable, sporty, fuel efficient and capable compact SUV, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson will be a great choice!
As a Latina woman, I loved the bold exterior, the driver centric concept, updated tech, comfortable seating for people like me who have back issues and all the storage, ports and creative solutions to give you more space without compromising on the features you want and all the safety features to keep you/your familia safe.
It also offers a great option for date night, plenty of space for shopping downtown and yet compact enough to keep up with your busy lifestyle!
I can’t wait to share it with our Hiking In New Jersey Group; which I believe will give some of our members the ability to use it on their daily commute while having a great ride for our weekend adventures, camping and so much more!
Or just take it for a drive and a great meal you will never forget like the barbecue we had!
