The New Year motivates me to start fresh! Another year, full of possibilities!
As an old tradition in my country and most South American countries, rearranging furniture and changing your home will bring you a fresh new start! Some even go the extra mile to buy used furniture or something similar from a luxury consignment furniture shop as replacing old furniture with new transforms the entire atmosphere of the space. Quite a lot of people love this hygge effect because of which they decide to revamp their space to create that vibe.
This year, I’ve decided to revamp my office by creating a new vision board, buying new decor items, putting up some new peel and stick wallpaper and cleaning the space above the shelves, and bringing that new feeling to a new floor arrangement as well.
I can’t remember a time when I’ve sat in my office and didn’t light a candle or have a fragrance matching my vision to my bring my business to the next level! It’s something I’ve been doing for years! Since it is second nature to me, I’ve chosen Glade Wax Melts, which are wax cubes that melt, filling your home with a truly pleasant fragrance.

1 – Vision Board
I cleared my vision board opening a whole new world of possibilities and will be working on my vision during the month of January.
2 – Counter Space

3 – I rearranged my guest chairs and desk, facing the door, according to Feng Shui to open the layout to new horizons and new opportunities, instead of facing to the back of the room. The pillows compliment my vision, as I will be facing them every time I sit at my desk!
4 – My reading nook, a great reason to open new books during down time and learn more, was also refreshed by less clutter on the side table and a throw on the accent chair.
The New Year brings that amazing feeling that you can conquer anything, that the doors will be open just waiting for you to enter! I absolutely love the month for January for that and of course, it’s my birthday month, so double the excitement!

I wish I had a reading nook that was just my own…sometime soon, hopefully. I also enjoy burning a scented candle to help set the mood, and clear my head. The most Ive been doing lately is decluttering my work desk.

You know, the hubby has his man cave and I have nothing! I need to etch out a spot for myself with a big oversized chair and some fuzzy blanket and a basket of books to read.
