The New Year always brings me that feeling of new fresh breath of endless possibilities, but I know that you need to let go of the old to make room for the new. So, more than ever, I have welcomed the New Year with the complete feeling of decluttering my life, to give room to new exciting things!
I have started cleaning my brain and thoughts from feelings and fears which don’t serve my vision and business, I decluttered my brain and used the power of visualizing by once more setting my vision board which is still a work in progress project! I also put together a special board with brands I handpicked to work with in 2015. It’s all about having a clear vision!
I have chosen a few other areas of my life to declutter and wanted to share them with you:
My Bedroom had two closets in desperate need of organization and one of the closets didn’t have any shelving, nothing inside the shell, but a huge mess. So we moved to get some shelving and baskets and started the operation clean up! Anything we wanted to keep but didn’t want in the house we stored into something like a Montreal Self Storage unit, so we didn’t have to make too many brutal decisions about what to throw in the trash forever! Although, when the time finally comes to sort out my clothes, I fear I may have to hire a dumpster! Companies like this dumpster rental in Indianapolis can help you declutter on a industrial scale, which is probably what I need considering the amount of clothes I own. In fact, I may even have to hire two dumpsters!
Here is a before and after of that closet:
I also completely cleaned my Spring/Summer closet and purged it, leaving two large bags to be donated!
I also decluttered my home office, space I spend most of my time, changed curtains, added an accent chair and pillows and voila! do you like it? I know some friends of mine are going all the way and going to pick your epoxy resin for some custom tables and the like for theirs, but I’m still proud of what I’ve done.
I also decluttered my fridge, pretty much filled it with veggies, fruits, lean meats and salads and shakes are my best friends as I try to recover from the holidays! Cleansing your body is the first step to a healthier lifestyle. So I have substituted one meal a day for a shake or smoothie.
This salad is one of my favorites, fresh Brazilian Minas Cheese, organic lettuce, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper and crushed almonds. Delicia!
I also decluttered my wardrobe with new pieces and new accessories but will leave you curious and share my new additions on another post! Are you with me? What areas of your life do you feel need to be decluttered? Can’t wait to hear from you! Let’s do it together!
