I’ve received the Nissan Rogue 2017 SV AWD for review purposes but all opinions are my own.
I loved driving the Nissan Rogue last week. Besides being the SUV of the moment with all the Star Wars Rogue One Buzz, it showed so many differences from the previous model that I need to highlight to you!
Being able to check the Rogue out so early in the season not only made this Star Wars lover happy but also surprised to see how it has all your family might want in a SUV!
Stylish Looks
The SV trim upgrades the wheels to alloy ones and adds automatic headlights as well as keyless ignition and entry. It also gives you roof rails, integrated turn signals on the side mirrors, exterior door handles in chrome, and rear privacy glass.
You’ll be able to spot the 2017 Rogue by its revised front, which features a bolder interpretation of Nissan’s V-Motion grille. The headlights have been redesigned, as has the rear end, with changes to the bumper and taillights. Other changes include the addition of chrome-like accents at the lower edge of the doors.
Comfort is ensured with the tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, and air-conditioning featuring rear vents. The SV trim upgrades to dual-zone automatic climate control and gives the driver a 6-way power seat featuring power lumbar.
Entertainment tech in the Nissan Rogue is extensive, even on the base S trim level. All models have a trip computer, Bluetooth audio and phone, 4 speakers, CD player, a 5-inch display, satellite radio, and inputs via both an auxiliary audio jack and a USB port. The SV adds 2 more speakers for a total of 6 and gives you smartphone integration via NissanConnect.
The Rogue will continue its three-trim strategy, including the base Rogue S, the midlevel Rogue SV, and the range-topping Rogue SL. All Rogues come standard with Bluetooth connectivity, 17-inch wheels, and hill-start assist. For 2017, the Rogue SV now comes standard with heated front cloth seats and remote engine start, and the SL gains standard automatic high-beam assist, a memory driver’s seat, and the motion-activated liftgate.
My favorite feature!!! Look at all the room for Trendy Shoes!!!!!
Amazing Price
All that for the unbeatable MRSP of $ 26,590.00 which was not listed on our Monroney, but found on the Nissan website.
Fuel Economy
We were able to experience first hand how economical the Rogue is – so amazing to make any Jedi happy! We were able to beat the 28 city and 32 highway listed.
Other things you might want to know:
- 2.5 liter I-4 Engine
- 17″ Alloy Wheels
- Brake assist
- Blind spot warning
- Rear Cross traffic alert
Nissan joined forces with Lucasfilm to present the first-ever Star Wars-branded full-size production vehicle – the 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition. I haven’t been lucky enough to review that (yet)!!!
