As a Latina, I was extremely happy to see that the new version of the movie, brings an Afro-Latino and all the beautiful culture and diversity into this action packed movie!
I was very excited to be invited to enjoy the THE “SPIDER-MAN™: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE” IMMERSIVE AR EXPERIENCE in Brooklyn!
Synchrony and Sony Pictures Animation will be hosting a VIP preview event showcasing an interactive, larger-than-life spiderweb installation inspired by the new animated film “Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse” using augmented reality.
Visitors will be entering through a subway tunnel and unlock a browser-based AR experience that transforms guests into members of the Spider-Verse, taking on the web-spinning abilities of Spider-Man.
You will be prompted to view and interact with the space using their smartphones, firing virtual web shooters.
We also “rode” on the subway!
The installation is crafted from aluminum and spans over 40 feet.
We also had the opportunity to join the cast of the film to preview the immersive installation before doors open today Wednesday, December 12th from 12—8 pm ET.

I love the movie! It was action-packed! I was impressed with the animation. I listened to an audiobook about Miles Morales. I’m glad it won a few awards including the Oscar for Best Animated movie.

We saw it over the weekend! My son loved it so much he can’t wait to see it again! We loved seeing an Afro-Latino Hero on the Big Screen! When I asked him why he liked it so much he said…it was nice to see someone on the World of Comics that he could relate to!
