Every year on mother’s day, I make something special for my mom, last year we designed a special site with pictures from my childhood, our last visit and one of her favorite songs, needless to say, it brought tears to her eyes! This year, I will surprise her with a video of my son playing the piano and singing in Portuguese to her! We have been connected but I must confess, besides my immediate family, I haven’t spoken with my friends for years!
Mother’s day is coming soon and it makes me think of connecting more with loved ones who live in South America! I have friends who live in Argentina and Costa Rica and haven’t spoken with them in such a long time! No one should go this long without speaking to the people who are closest to them. Maybe if I had looked into the Playas del Coco real estate when I had the opportunity, I wouldn’t have gone this long without talking to them. If anything, I would be living so much closer to them in a beautiful place, so we’d have unlimited time to meet up. In truth, it should be illegal to go this long without speaking to friends. Well, Walmart #FamilyMobile helped me get connected and talk not only with my friends, but with their mamás y abuelitas!
We purchased the Samsung Exhibit at our Local Walmart, through #MyColectiva Shop and couldn’t be happier with the features, camera, phone reception in our area and Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web. My first call was to my mom in Brazil, we had a great chat!

What a great way to stay connected! I am fortunate to have a mother 10 minutes away. It’s good to know that there would be a way to reach her if she were further away.
What a great Mother’s Day gift! I love how technology allows us to stay connected to our loved ones. It makes living far away from them much easier. And I agree that there is nothing more important than family.
Don’t know a single person who still needs a cell phone but this is definitely good to know. Walmart does have a good plan though.

I love this phone plan. My mom is on it and because of the unlimited internet I get to skype with her and the kids can send her videos all the time when she is away
We have family mobile phones and we are perfectly happy using them. They have good service and our cell phone bill is so much cheaper!
5 cents a minutes is a wonderful price for overseas cell phone minutes! I will have to check out their phones for my son. We need to get him a prepaid phone for when he goes on a trip this summer.
I think having a good cell phone and service is crucial these days!

I love how technology allows us to stay in touch face to face. My son loves to facetime on our iPhones to his grandparents daily!
A cell phone is a must today, I wonder how the coverage compares to say Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T .. I currently use Verizon and their prices for their plans are ridiculously expensive.. I just always worry about coverage why I have never made a switch.
I love that Walmart has great prices on cell phones and cell plans. They make it so much easier to stay connected with family and friends that aren’t local.

What a great way to stay connected! It is so important all the time to have a good company to reach out and tell each other good news.
Cell phones are almost a necessity nowadays. In fact, my family and I no longer have home phones, so cells are definitely a must for us.
I wished I could afford to get my mom a phone that she can see photos that I’ve taken of the great-grandchildren…Oh well, we’ll just have to drive to her more often.
