I received the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4Xe for review purposes, but as usual, all opinions are my own.
Summer Adventures With Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe
You know I love fuel efficient vehicles, but this one, really exceeded my expectations! So let’s start by talking about our Summer Adventures With Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve 4xe.
Plug-In Hybrid Power
We drove the vehicle for a week and also took it to Maryland for some boating adventures (approximately 3.5 hours of driving there and back) and when the vehicle was returned to the manufacturer at the end of the week, this Plug-In Hybrid vehicle still had 7/8 of the gas tank full! Amazing, isn’t it?
We plugged it in overnight and at any chance we had in order to maximize fuel efficiency.
We were able to get over 55 miles/gallon using the electric power while heading to Maryland.
The vehicle specs had the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe at :
56 MPGe
23MPG
But we were able to get better gas mileage, even after we completely depleted the electric power on our trip to Maryland.
Comfort & Luxury
I personally love the leather, the stitch on the seats and how wide they are, giving you a super comfortable ride.
Also love the beautiful panel, and suede on the ceiling and side doors.
The Seat Massage came in handy, when I had a back pain episode and the Jeep Cherokee was my ride to three sessions at the Chiropractor. Well, the massage just felt amazing after the sessions, targeting my lower back – comfort at its best!
The ventilated front & rear seats give you an extra cool factor in the summer!
Something I had never seen in a vehicle: Front Passenger Interactive Display, giving the front passenger the ability to watch a movie for example, using the HDMI cable extension.
Great feature for road trips.
Ambient Light which changes colors, adds to that luxury feeling and attention to details.
Summer Adventures With The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe
It’s not a great summer if we don’t go out on a boat ride!
Every year, our friend Bill invites us to enjoy a day on the water, on board his beautiful boat!
We had the most amazing ride there with the Jeep! Super fuel efficient, comfortable, powerful and the ability to offer us better performance by changing the vehicle height just really surprised us, as another feature I had not seen as an automatic process.
The vehicle was smart to adjust the height to give us better performance, fuel efficiency and comfort as we drove there.
Different heights from small roads near our home, highway, bridges and gravel path to the marina! So awesome to watch the Jeep Grand Cherokee adjusting to it!
Great features I also love:
Surround View Camera and angles are amazing! They take the guess work when parking and navigating tricky roads!
The Mackintosh system, 19 speaker high-performance audio was the perfect companion for our summer drives with the Jeep!
Loved the loaded tech and the wireless phone charger and all the ports! My phone was always charged to capture summer moments!
Beach Time was also sweet with this great ride!
Summer and S’mores go hand in hand, but how about taking your Jeep for a S’mores night at the beach?
So awesome to be on the beach at night! It made our summer adventures even sweeter!
We didn’t bring guests with us, but the room in the back seats and the controls offer a great experience to teens, friends who ride with you!
We were sad to see the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe go! Our last sunset with it was amazing!
It was great creating summer memories with a vehicle that goes above and beyond to meet your style, tech, performance and fuel efficient needs!
Some additional details and final thoughts:
*As shown , MRSP is $81,875.
*It is a 4WD vehicle with descend control and Quadra Lift Air Suspension, but I would personally not take this beautiful Jeep to hit the rocks, mud and off-road terrain! But you might think differently, because it is certainly capable of handling it!
It just has a feel of more of a Luxury, fuel efficient, tech loaded SUV, but that is my personal opinion.

those seats look so comfortable and the jeep definitely looks roomy.. with a plugin version, it does make for a great option that will also make it easy to travel..
I have some friends who have a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and they love it! I had no idea there was a plug-in hybrid version. I have a plug in hybrid and it is so convenient. It is neat to know that Jeep has this model.
Hybrid cars seem like they would save you a lot of money in gas in the long run!
