I know what you are thinking: You gotta be kidding me, weight loss? Well, this is me 2 years ago and to share my story with you, I need to share where I am walking towards.
Anybody that knows me, knows I have a family with obesity heavy hitting on my dad’s side of the family! I have fought my metabolism my whole life and have been on diet since I can remember. I made a vow to myself that I would not be overweight, that was not who I was. I’m 45 years old and age slows down your metabolism, bringing a heavier burden against my goals. In 2011, I had the perfect weight for my body structure and was very fit, but a very stressful year, packed some unwanted pounds. I tried in vain last year and did not lose anything, because the exercise part of the equation was not in! I switched some of my choices, doubled the water intake and started with 2 days a week with light exercising and voila! I have lost 2 pounds last week alone, just 7 pounds from my goal! Like the picture above? That is my goal!!
I am soooo excited to share with you, I will be partnering with some amazing companies to boost my get fit by summer goal to go back to my 2011 weight of 128 pounds and a size 2! In the following weeks, I will be sharing these partners and showing you what and how those changes are impacting my goals!
So, It makes sense that my first partner is a Dance Studio, Fit To Dance Studio in Mullica Hill! I will be trying popular classes, venturing in new ones! So exciting since they offer a wide range of classes! My classes schedule and pics will be posted on my twitter and Instagram accounts listed below. Please follow me to check it out and follow our sponsor on FB, as well as check out their website!
Want to try it out? They offer a complimentary first class, just contact them to schedule it!

You should always contact a doctor before starting an exercise regimen, results will vary.

Wow! You look great! I just started an exercise program that involves dance. I need something other than a “typical work out” or I get bored easily. Good luck!

Dancing is a GREAT way to lose weight. We use the Wii dance and get the kids into it as well! 🙂

I like this idea! I’m 47 and a number of years of high stress plus the age factor has left me flabby. Weight is not an issue – a firm & fit body is. Good luck on losing – to both of us!
