Before you think, I wanted to tell you, no, I’m not pregnant! No, these are not products for pregnant women only! Thyme Maternity sent me the following beauty products from their Soothing Therapy line to be reviewed: Regenerate Restructuring Gel, Breast Cream, and Stretch Mark Cream.
The rich formulation of Thyme Maternity’s exclusive Soothing Therapy Stretch Mark Cream helps restore skin’s elasticity. Some of the key ingredients that make this cream so effective:
- Seaweed extract helps circulation and helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
- Vitamin E conditions and nourishes the skin, reducing scar tissue.
- Avacado oil provides moisture to skin.
- Not tested on animals. Biodegradable packaging.
I’ve been using the products consistently for the last 3 months. I used the moisturizer after showering to make sure my skin was clean and enhance the effects of the product. I was very pleased with the results of how my skin felt after two months of treatment. The combination of all three products left my skin very smooth and moisturized, however, I haven’t noticed any significant improvement on the appearance of the stretch marks.
Even though, they are known for being pre and post pregnancy products, as a Latina, I believe taking care of your skin is essential, at any age, any time; their properties and nutrients are great for any skin, at any time! With that said, I still would recommend the product to all women that go through pregnancy. After the skin being stretched during pregnancy, it is very much in need of a product that would provide the moisturizing necessary to allow the skin to gradually be back to normal.
