I was invited to attend the Chicago Auto Show as a Media Correspondent, but all opinions are my own.
You know how much I love all the variety and style of Toyota and Lexus cars, here are some of my favorite highlights at the Chicago Auto Show.
I watched Jack Hollis unveil the TRD (Toyota Racing Development) Pro upgrades.
What I love about them is that the 2020 Sequoia can go even more places thanks to its TRD Pro upgrades. That includes the same Fox internal bypass shocks found on the rest of their TRD Pro vehicles.
Sequoia TRD Pro also includes a host of exterior upgrades, unique black badging and TRD-engineered parts.
Black aluminum running boards come standard … and they are just as helpful for getting in and out of the vehicle as they are for loading cargo on the new TRD roof rack. Awesome, right?
Inside … Sequoia TRD Pro is fitted with leather-trimmed seats that feature red stitching and TRD Pro logos stitched onto the front headrests.
The Sequoia and all TRD Pros will be available in Midnight Black Metallic, Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic and the TRD Pro-exclusive Army Green.
Sequoia also leads the way for new features across the TRD Pro family for 2020… as each model adds upgraded multimedia systems that include Android Auto!
In fact all Sequoia, Tundra and 4Runners will also have Apple Carplay and Amazon Alexa compatibility.
For 2020, all grades of Sequoia will feature Smart Key with push-button start. Tundra and 4Runner will also receive this upgrade on select grades.
The Tundra TRD Pro will now go beyond CrewMax … as Double Cab will get added to the mix next model year.
Tundra CrewMax and Sequoia TRD Pros get standard premium JBL Audio with subwoofer and integrated navigation like the 4Runner received last year.
4Runner TRD Pro and all 2020 4Runners will now come standard
with Toyota Safety Sense.
I also loved the 2020 Supra, which made it first public appearance at #CAS19
Up close to it!
Following its Detroit debut, the 2020 GR Supra will make its first appearance in Chicago.
More than 20 years in the making, the 2020 GR Supra is the first global Toyota GAZOO Racing model with design inspired by Calty’s FT-1 Concept.
The Supra goes on sale this summer and the first 1,500 vehicles will be Launch Edition models.
I can’t wait to take it for a fun ride!
Some of my absolute favorites are the 2020 Corolla and Corolla Hybrid, which I will be driving in two weeks! So driving impressions and lots of fun trendy shots to come!
Lexus line up also made this Trendy lover soooo happy!
A personal favorite, the first public appearance of the 2019 LC 500 Inspiration Edition.
The third vehicle in the Lexus Inspiration Series, this LC 500 is a limited-edition model that features a unique mix of colors and features that build on the coupe’s stunning design.
I had an up close look at their launch party!
The Lexus LC Convertible Concept is the next iteration in the brand’s creative evolution, suggesting future direction of the LC flagship. An artful reflection of the LC coupe, the design of the Convertible Concept expresses ultimate beauty with every line drawn to evoke an emotional response.
Needless to say, so many gorgeous options to look forward to!
Can’t wait to share some of them here in 2019!
