There are many Latinas I admire for their sense of fashion, their accomplishments, beauty and their contribution to the society, but I must say I absolutely adore Eva’s Style; she represents the perfect blend of Class and Latin Spice flavored by a very talented and savvy business personality.
I love watching her parade gorgeous outfits, perfect for Trendy Latinas all ages! She looked absolutely fabulous as always at her foundation dinner in LA! I was really impressed when I found out that her Foundation helps Latinas build better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship. The Eva Longoria Foundation supports programs which help Latinas excel in school and attend college. Additionally, they work to provide Latina entrepreneurs with career training, mentorship, capital and opportunity. By investing in Latinas, they hope to build a stronger future for our country.
I can’t deny I was very excited to find out that she returns to prime time this Thursday, at 8:30/7:30c. with a guest appearance on Welcome to the Family.
Browsing the web, I’ve found this video which I wanted to share, it’s an interview with Eva about her appearance on the show:
In case you haven’t heard, Welcome to the Family is about how cultures collide when a white family and a Latino family are bonded together by their children who fall in love followed quickly by an unplanned pregnancy.
Dan Yoder (Mike O’Malley, “Glee,” “My Name Is Earl”) and wife, Caroline (Mary McCormack, “In Plain Sight,” “The West Wing”), think they finally have it made. Their daughter, Molly (Ella Rae Peck, “Deception,” “Gossip Girl”) has managed to graduate from high school and has been accepted to college. Her proud parents are looking forward to an empty nest.
Across town, Molly’s boyfriend, Junior Hernandez (Joey Haro, “Glee,” “Awkward”), is graduating from his high school with top honors and has plans to go to Stanford. Parents Miguel (Ricardo Chavira, “Desperate Housewives”) and Lisette (Justina Machado, “Six Feet Under,” “ER”) are bursting with pride. Everything seems like it is falling into place for them, but Molly and Junior are about to become parents themselves.
Once the teens break the big news, these two very different families are thrown together. The result is a must watch show!

I caught some of this the other day. I like seeing Ricardo Chivaro in another role. I loved him as Carlos.
