When I started planning the trip, the first question was: what to wear? I knew it was going to be hot, but yet, I wanted to be well dressed to attend the events on our schedule.
The week before the trip, I was lucky enough to make a trip to Kohls and the Lauren Conrad Collection was out before the launch date and I was able to grab some pieces to bring some pixie dust to my wardrobe. But even if you are not lucky enough to grab pieces from a Disney Collection, I recommend:
Light Wardrobe for Conference Sessions, such as jeans and dressy blouse or summer dress and flats or sandals.
A nicer outfit for welcome reception, even though a lot of the attendees were wearing shorts and more casual dresses.
Shorts or capris for Parks Time with T-shirts, remember it will be hot, but you want to look your best in the pictures!
Your Magical Ears! I brought mine but did not wear them in all the pictures!
Here are some of my outfits:
Welcome Room Sign In: I chose a comfortable outfit, Lauren Conrad’s shirt and Black Shorts from Macys, since I was going to the Park afterwards!
Welcome Reception: Love this Lauren Conrad’s Silk Dress, totally worth the price! Yes, the patterns are Minnie’s face!
For the Conference Day, I used a Boho Top, Target Embroidered Jeans and Aventura Clothing Light Jacket! We were going to stay indoors all day, the jacket was a great piece! Flats, they were a must for an all day conference!
At Night, for the Beach Party I used the Kohls LC Collection, silk shirt and shorts! So comfortable and appropriate for the party!
A Lululemon Outfit for our Gogo Fun Run at Epcot Center!
And finally a light summer dress from Target for the Mother’s Day Brunch!
In case you are wondering, no high heels this time! Flats and sandals only! Also brought my new sneakers for the run and for night time at the parks!
