I was invited to attend a trip to Omaha hosted by Omaha Steaks, some of the places I’ve shared below, were hosted by Visit Omaha, but as usual, all opinions are my own and this is not a sponsored post.
I’m going to confess, I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived in Omaha, but the friendly smiles, beautiful simple colors and breathtaking moments helped make Omaha a destination which will forever be in my heart!
We had the pleasure as ambassadors, of visiting Omaha invited by Omaha Steaks and I will be sharing our experience in upcoming posts!
This is dedicated to my favorite moments in Omaha!
From the time I’ve arrived at the Airport and was greeted by Dana Zucker, our host and friendly smiles at their Airport Store.
We were welcomed by the hospitality of the Hilton Omaha, but I will be sharing a special post just on how amazing that hotel is and all it has to offer:
We visited the Omaha Zoo
I was so happy to hear all the Omaha Steaks does for the community and local organizations, such as the ZOO!
We had an up close encounter with an elephant
Visited The Dome
A sweet moment with the Giraffe
I even got a kiss!
When we left, it was like she was sad and saying: see you soon!
Visiting a Farm
Dinner and sunset at the Hough Farm in IOWA, where the peace a quiet and the comfort of a great meal among friends just brought that peaceful feeling back into my heart.
First I had a stare contest at the farm, too close for comfort! But it was great seeing how much care goes into the cattle which is bought by Omaha Steaks, a family owned farm, raising the cattle with a special diet which makes a huge difference on how their meat tastes.
A delicious freshly grilled meal by Omaha Steaks!
Unbelievable Sunset, thanks to the Hugh Family’s hospitality to share that with us!
So peaceful, I went on the road to just contemplate that peace of heaven!
We took a walk mesmerized by the beauty of the sunset! No hurry, no to do list. The sun set in the sky as if it was frozen, waiting for us to enjoy it a little longer…
I even fit in the tractor wheel. I felt so small compared to the crop and amount of cattle on the farm. You don’t realize how much work goes into a farm until you have to do it yourself. No idea where they get their parts from, could be Costex or maybe a local parts dealer, whichever one, they are massive and very sturdy.
Next day we went Bobbing! A walk through Bob The Bridge, which is the only bridge in two States over water! #ItHappenedOnBob !
We also walked through Old Town Passageway and had a taste of the best food in town, which I will be sharing soon~
Loved walking through cobblestone streets, admiring the history and yet novelty of the center of town, bubbling in a Saturday morning!
I can’t wait to go back to Omaha and spend more time enjoying all that the city has to offer!
I feel like I would need a few more days to share all my Trendy Favorites with you! But I can assure you, Omaha will forever be in my heart!
Can’t wait to hear what you think of my visit to Omaha!
As usual, give us a Trendy Shout!
