I have always enjoyed a roska at the beach in Brazil or during our get-togethers with family and friends. You know how hot it is in the summer in South America, so the essence of the roska is to bring the light fruit flavor to alcohol, giving you a refreshing and delicious summer beverage to enjoy at the beach or when you are entertaining!
Every summer I serve roskas made with my own recipe, which adds a twist to the original one! I add a fruity wine to lighten up the original version which is made with a Brazilian distilled alcohol base. I personally like it more this way and I have enjoyed so many friends complimenting me on how light and refreshing it tastes.
I chose Sutter Home, because is the perfect wine to bring people together and make them feel at home. It is also my go to wine for all my summer entertaining needs. You how much I love having friends over! Summer is my favorite season!

Raspberry Roska
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of raspberries
1 Tsp of sugar
1/2 cup of raspberry lemonade
1 cup of Sutter Home White Zinfandel
Preparation:
Crush Raspberries
Add Sugar
Put raspberries into cup
Add raspberry lemonade
Add Sutter Home White Zinfandel Wine
Enjoy!
A few things I want to share:
- You can add as much wine/ lemonade as you/your guests want. That’s the beauty of making it in a single cup. You can also add other fruits, such as kiwi, strawberry, mango, which I have used and all go well with the Sutter Home Zinfandel wine.
- Fruits should be smashed right before adding them to the drink to preserve freshness and add the perfect pairing to Sutter Home wines!
