Two weeks ago I was invited to join an awesome group and follow the childhood footsteps of Charles Addams in Westfield, NJ. Here I’m sharing special moments and how much I’m looking forward to seeing The Addams Family adventure later this year.
So excited to have been invited since The Addams Family were a part of my childhood as well!
As a big horror movie lover, I remember sitting once a week to watch the re-runs in Brazil, from the black and white original version, just mesmerized by the story and plot around these intriguing characters!
Yes, the Addams Family was famous in Brazil as well!
We started our tour in the charming Westfield, NJ at the James Ward Mansion, which hosted us for a delicious breakfast.
While there, we had a chance to check out an original art hand drawn by Charles Addams himself and learned more about all the fun that happens at Addamsfest!
Addamsfest is a festival where the whole town pays tribute to their love for the Addams Family!
A New Adventure With The Addams Family
Our visit included a special 10 min screening, at the Rialto Theater, of the unfinished version of the movie!
Sooooo good! But I can’t share anything, YET!
What I can share is that Oscar Isaac and Charlize Theron lead The Addams Family amazing cast, directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan.
Get ready to snap your fingers! The first family of Halloween, the Addams Family, is back on the big screen in the first animated comedy about the kookiest family on the block.
Funny, outlandish, and completely iconic, the Addams Family redefines what it means to be a good neighbor.

Next we took a walk through memory lane and historical places which made memories later translated into Charles Addams’ cartoons and stories!
We saw the house that inspired him to create the Addams Family home and so much more!
Lunch was spooked with awesome drinks at the Addams Tavern and more surprises!
The Addams Family opens in Theaters in October,11th!
I’ve already saved the date!

This is one Halloween movie that I would love taking the grandchildren to watch. The Addams Family is a classic and I enjoyed watching it with my children when they were growing up.

This is one of my most favorite animated movies ever! The characters are so fun and interesting. Seeing it again is going to be thrilling.

I watched this show a lot when I was a kid. There are a few actors that I know in this movie. I saw the trailer, and I can’t wait to take the kids!

I LOVE the Adamms Family! I also grew up with that show and my kids even love it.
