Angry Birds was my very first movie event, one I will never forget! One of the many reasons why I was so excited to have been invited by Sony to attend Angry Birds 2 event in LA.

Luau & Screening

The Luau was just the perfect touch to welcome us to the second installment of this fun movie which started with a screen version of the video game, but evolved into way more than that!

We watched an unfinished version, even though I can’t share details with you. I can assure you, you should grab tickets in advance to watch Angry Birds 2, when it comes out in theaters nationwide on August 14, 2019!

After the phenomenal success of the first film, John Cohen and the film making team knew the story of the Angry Birds wasn’t over.

When a new threat emerges that puts both Bird and Pig Island in danger, Red (Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (Josh Gad), Bomb (Danny McBride), and Mighty Eagle (Peter Dinklage) recruit Chuck’s sister Silver (Rachel Bloom) and team up with pigs Leonard (Bill Hader), his assistant Courtney (Awkwafina), and techpig Garry (Sterling K. Brown) to forge an unsteady truce and form an unlikely super-team to save their homes.

They are joined by the new exciting voices of Leslie Jones, Rachel Bloom, Awkwafina, Sterling K. Brown, Eugenio Derbez and more.

Outdoor Event

We had a chance to learn more about the hands behind the animation, while attending a beautiful and fun event where we had a hands on experience, making our own birds!

How cool is that?

We had the honor to have Director Thurop Van Roman and Production Designer Pete Oswald leading us, step by step to create our own Angry Birds Characters!

But First…..

One of my favorite parts was when the Production Designer Pete Oswald , personally helped me work on my version of Red!

I told him that my son does animation and coding, so this was a super special moment to be able to chat with him about that and that my son dreams to be a designer/animator one day!

I’m going to confess, I had a little bit more help than the others!! Shhhh……

Such a great group of influencers, one of my most favorite events ever!
