New Year, New Projects, this is the first recipe out as my project include in my upcoming book with low fat, healthy Brazilian recipes!
I will be revisiting classics, offering options to give you a healthier version without compromising the flavor!
Welcome to the Brazilian Goddess Project!
Why that name? Because you think about Brazilian women, you think about Giselle Bundchen, Adriana Lima, models, right?
The truth is, Brazilian waist has grown with fast food growth and the country’s development, but there is a new movement to change that and bring the Brazilian stereotype back to them!
My proposal is to ask you to try the new unexpected recipes, carrying flavor, culture and history, which I will be sharing alongside each dish! Just offering you a guilt free option or in some cases, a cheat day option!
Today’s recipe is a recipe I grew up with!
We looked forward to steak with homemade fries! I remember my mom frying them and we would eat, not letting it get to the table! There are so many types of fries from all over the world, that one might just lose count! However, the one that my mom made is still my favorite!
I chose to bake them, leaving the flavor to seasoning, my mom would only season them with sea salt!
Ingredients:
5 Russet Potatoes peeled and cut in slices
2 Tbsp of Old Bay Seasoning
1 tbsp of Grape Seed Oil
Preparation:
Mix Potatoes, Oil and Old Bay Seasoning in a bowl. Add potatoes to a greased baking sheet. Bake at 375F for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm!
Only 2 points for 15 fries, 56 calories.
