I spent the weekend at Hershey. My family and I had never been there at Christmas, so we were extremely excited to go!
This time of year, we were looking forward to seeing the lights, checking out the park in the winter and having that cup of cocoa while exploring what the sweetest place on earth has to offer.
I will be sharing our exciting trip and what we loved about it! It was snowing, setting the perfect stage to our Christmas Trip!
Today I will be sharing all about our stay at the Hotel Hershey during the Christmas Season!
Sitting on the top of the majestic mountain, the hotel is a staple of traditional and heart warming hospitality!
At Check In, you’re greeted with the first sample of what is yet to come, a delicious Hershey Candy Bar of your choice! My son, a growing teen, said, Mom, I’m already loving this place!
The decor and white poinsettias beautifully nested in the foyer, reminded me of a festive winter wonderland.
Walking through the hallway and our room, it was like we could smell the chocolate and the sweet aroma.
We arrived late, so a warm meal was in order! Dinner at Trevi 5, one of the three restaurants on property was the perfect option!
The food was so light and delicious! Italian Cuisine at its best!
They also have The Circular, a more upscale option with a gorgeous bar and Harvest, which is located adjacent to the hotel. Hubby and I promised to come and enjoy their signature cocktails at the bar on a date weekend, maybe in the Spring!
We headed to see the Sweet Lights and later parked the car in the parking lot and took the shuttle to Hershey Park to enjoy Candy Lane and all the fun the park has to offer!
The Shuttle is complimentary for hotel guests and leaves every 20 minutes until 30 minutes after the park closes.
Next morning, we had lunch scheduled with nearby relatives, so we were looking for a quick breakfast and the Cocoa Beanery located in the Hotel, offered fresh warm bagels and muffins and delicious coffee! The perfect breakfast on a cold winter morning!
We left breakfast and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup was there to greet us and the hundreds of guests who filled the foyer with holiday cheer!
They also had breakfast with Santa and so many different events going on! So much to do, so little time!
After such an amazing visit, I checked out the stores and brought home some new Christmas ornaments to remind us of the great time we had there!
A few things you may want to consider:
- Since it is a traditional hotel, you might want to bring your wall units to charge your electronics as there are currently no USB ports in the room.
- The hotel offers a shuttle to Hershey Park, but you will need to provide your own transportation from the airport and to other local attractions like the Hershey Sweet Lights.
