Christmas Tree
For me, it’s not Christmas until we have the tree up!
I used to have real trees, I love the fresh pine scent, but since I’m allergic to it, we buy a small one, just to have the scent in the house and last year we bought a beautiful tree that will last 10 years or more!
I was missing a personalized touch on our tree, I had an ornament commemorating the year that we finished our house addition, but nothing with our names on it, so I’m loving the new ornament from Personalization Mall!

We make sure we vacuum and shampoo the couches before the party, because our dogs literally take over that space all year!
We also add touches all through the house to make our visitors welcome, like blankets and pillows! That said, we wanted to have a different design for the pillows, which is why some of our friends recommended buying an anime body pillow to add a touch of Japanese culture to the house. And that is not the end. We also wanted to have our blankets feel cozier to our visitors. We thought that this could make our visitors feel more comfortable and desired.

A Few Things we also make sure to have to Get Your Home Ready For Christmas:
We love music, so we have caroling at our party and as a family the night before Christmas!
We also host as an open house to make sure the guests come in and out, leaving space for more people to stop by!
We use technology to spread the music around our home and change the light bulb colors to red and green! Also, because we use this technology and have all our gifts within our home we make sure that we update our high-quality security Alarms so that we are not a direct target of theft, especially at this time of the year.
Also, always have lights outside to avoid guests accidents before they come in!

These are all great ideas. I tend to focus a lot on the food. That is one of the things everyone seems to love the most. I want to make sure everyone is fed and loves it. I also love having my home decorated for guests too…as well as for myself.
