I was invited to Explore New Roads With The Chevy Trax, but as usual, all opinions are my own.
Love all the space and attention to details on the new Chevy Trax. I will be sharing my thoughts on it, as well as the fun time spent in Asheville, enjoying it!
Explore New Roads With The Chevy Trax
Asheville is such a beautiful city! I love the roads framed by history and Southern Charm, the historic buildings and how it’s charm comes from being perfectly located in the heart of the mountains!
Let me share some of our favorite spots during the trip, so you can explore them next time you visit Asheville!
The Foundry Hotel – Curio Collection by Hilton
Located in the heart of the town, this hotel offers elegance and history all around!
My room’s view overlooked the garden and awesome Chevy Rides.
The Foundry Hotel Room
Loved all the art around the room and the classic timeless style which matches the rich history of the city.
Let’s look around:
We left our hotel to enjoy a morning ride through the town, winding roads and mountains which offered a perfect mix to test the 2024 Chevy Trax’ capability.
Exploring The Asheville Area
We took the Chevy Trax to enjoy an Amish experience nearby! Love how it went up the gravel roads!
And how it performed in the rain
Snack time, just because….strawberries are always a great idea!
We had a chance to experience a few models, I particularly love this color and the Activ package.
We enjoyed the city drive and how great it felt on the cobblestone roads!
My co-driver and I tried to explore the Biltmore, a must visit in Asheville, but it was too late to get in for a tour!
We also took it to experience the drive at Blue Ridge Parkway.
Along the highest ridge tops of the Southern Appalachians, the Blue Ridge Parkway serves as the gateway to incredible outdoor adventure and breathtaking mountain vistas.
We had a chance to stop at a few scenic overlooks, check it out!
We stopped at Gogo’s for a taste of their local delicious coffee & cinnamon bun and…because bacon is always a great idea!
Here are a few things I loved about the Chevy Trax:
Exterior
Love the Front Grille, the Chrome Accents and the Headlights
Trendy & Bold, don’t you think?
Space
Loved all the leg room it gave us in front and back seats!
Interior design
Check out the colors and accents!
It was a great surprise to meet Renato Tado, the interior designer for the Trax. He grew up in Brazil and designed a lot of the Chevy Vehicles in South America, he also shared his take on some of the interior design choices in Portuguese!
So great to see all the diversity Chevy embraces, through the team and attendees.
dash & Panel
Love the Activ colors on the front, the lines and how they moved the shifter to give the driver more space.
Also love the colors combinations, depending on the trim which is carried into the seats. Check the RS out!
The dash and panel were lowered having a driver centric perspective and giving us a wider, longer view of what is in front of us, making the driving more immersive, fun and intuitive.
I also think that the Technical Fade out Pattern gives it an interesting look!
The Trendy in me loves the Premium Feel available at the entry level
Tech
Great screen lowered as an extension of the panel
Loved how seamlessly my iPhone connected and my Spotify became the soundtrack of our drive!
Also loved all the ports, the wireless charger and how intuitive the nobs were.
Fuel Economy
The Chevy Trax gives you 28 city / 32 highway
Safety
A lot of the safety features are standard and the wider screen gives us the additional view point.
Active Noise Cancellation
Making our drive quiet and even more immersive, giving us additional joy appreciating the trees, nature and beauty surrounding us.
Active noise cancellation will also be a standard feature on all Trax models. This feature uses inaudible sound waves produced by the car’s stereo speakers to cancel out some noises such as those from the tires and engine.
Price
The Chevy Trax starts at $21,495 – at this amazing price point it has all the great things I’ve shared, but some features vary by model.
It is a great option for college students, young drivers and in my opinion, active empty nesters, who focus on their retirement budget, but who also want a nice spacious ride.
I need to share the multicultural fun, colorful appeal in the style and tech offered in the Chevy Trax.
I was personally impressed with the MRSP of the 2024 Chevy Trax and very happy to see that it is being offered serving consumers who are looking for a lower price point, but want to have access to some of the features this vehicle offers at entry level.
It is well known that many manufacturers pulled out of the affordable vehicle market and yet, it is in my opinion, so needed, especially in today’s recession market. More and more people are looking for affordable, fresh new options, such as the Trax 2024.
The Chevy Trax 2024 will be widely offered at dealers nationwide in June, sharing because I know, you’re probably thinking: when will it come out?
Can’t wait to hear what you think of the my adventures to Explore New Roads With The Chevy Trax.
Save for later:
As usual, give us a Trendy Shout!

Nnniiccceeee….the guys at General Motors have really done themselves a number on this one. It’s outer design looks good to me, so is the interior. I love how functional the parking camera is, as well.

What a fun trip you had. And those cars look amazing, I love that they look a bit bigger and taller than a standard one here in the UK x

I haven’t had any experiences with Chevy.. I tend to gravitate toward Jeep and Ford but this model looks nice. And 32mpg would be nice to have!
