Electric Vehicles have been a favorite at our home. Mid 2000s hubby told me, one day he would love to buy an electric vehicle and I laughed. Many years have passed, and we have as a family loved the new electric vehicles which we’ve had the chance to experience. As a content creator who lives and believes in our responsibility to take care of our planet, I’ve had many reservations until now, so here are my thoughts on Exploring Napa Valley With Nissan Aryia.
Exploring Napa Valley With Nissan Ariya
I have only had a chance to drive three electric vehicles, but I can assure you, the Nissan Ariya eForce 4 wheel drive is a favorite, here are some reasons why I love it and am encouraging you to check it out:
Road Trip & Adventure Ready
We left the Montage Healdsburg to drive to Oakville Winery. The first stop on our drive, exploring Napa Valley with the Nissan Ariya.
Took a shot before we left, too pretty not to, don’t you agree?
We drove to the beautiful destination, experiencing highway, narrow and farm roads to give us a sense of what the vehicle can do!
I personally loved how it handled. I also loved the heads-up display, 12.3” screen, how easily my iPhone integrated with vehicle through Apple Car Play and the navigation. My favorite music and apps felt at home.
The Power Modes gave us the options to have response and freedom as needed!
One of my son’s biggest issues with road trips is the leg room, I personally felt that we had a lot of leg room and the Ariya felt spacious – as if we were immersed and on board a futuristic vehicle.
The quiet engine also gave us the feeling of being immersed in the experience. We only had to enjoy the ride and be excited about the destination.
Love the Zero Gravity Seats – the blue color on the seats and dash translated the premium experience and the suede appearance carried through our front panel, beautifully blending with the side panels, bringing the Japanese concept of feng shui, extended to the great Bose speaker system.
The Pro-Pilot 2.0, an upgraded version of the Pro-Pilot I have on my 2023 Rogue, has a lot of new safety features, but my favorite is the ability to drive hands-off, while keeping the eyes on the road.
Pro-Pilot Park Assist
It gives you the confidence to set it up and park in that perfect spot when you go for a night out in the city when you’re not sure if the vehicle can fit in front of that new restaurant you’re checking out.
Can you imagine being in rush hour traffic and just having to look at the road ahead without needing to keep your hands on the wheel?
For somebody like me who had a back injury, the ability to put your hands down while driving alone, is a feature worth purchasing the vehicle.
Cargo Space
I absolutely loved how much cargo space the vehicle has which adds as a favorite feature to take it camping or on a road trip.
The vehicle was designed having the passengers in mind and has improved the comfort of your passengers while driving.
I personally experienced it when I sat on the passenger side and my driving partner had a chance to enjoy driving the vehicle.
The Movable Center Console gives you the freedom to move it as you need it!
Nissan is using features developed in other cars, including the GTR Sport’s Car torque-split system, to offer optional all-wheel drive experience via a dual-front/rear-electric-motor configuration.
The Ariya E-4orce has an estimated zero to 60 mph in 5.0 seconds, a quality that is similar to higher-end electric vehicles.
Battery
Lithium Battery underfloor mounted, 0-80% charge in aproximately 90 minutes for fast charge.
We drove for over 4 hours and still had over 50% of our battery and over 100+ miles when we arrived back at the hotel, helping many who feel anxiety taking an electric vehicle on a road-trip!
I was one of those people, but I am no more! The Nissan Ariya e-4orce changed my mind!
Love the programs Nissan will offer Ariya owners when it hits the US Markets. Also love:
- the in EVGO innitiative;
- Nissan dealers offering fast charging options at no cost to customers
- Service oriented to ensure the vehicle and battery are receiving the care they need to answer the customer concerns on long term costs of EV ownership.
A minor observation on how to operate the turning signal, which in my opinion, was not intuitive, since it took, this 2023 Rogue owner, a learning curve to figure out how to turn it off once you used it.
Tech
As usual, you know I love the tech in a vehicle, which is a must have for me!
The Hey Nissan gives you the concierge options at your finger tips and the assistant experience you have at home with other devices, all hands free, preventing you from being distracted while asking for the nearest charging station with a coffee shop, ordering take-out or asking for your favorite playlist on your favorite station, all with voice commands.
I felt the 12.3” screen and the heads-up display gave me all the information and options I needed, without having to search for color/size of the buttons embedded on the dash. It also gave it a clean look and helped me avoid unnecessary distractions or taking my eyes off of the road.
The “secret” storage box is in my opinion, a great addition!
Just think, that you can place your laptop and have a mobile office while you wait for your vehicle to charge at the fast-charging station. Awesome because time is money, right?
You can also hide snacks from your kids in there 🙂 – or hide your wallet when you hit your favorite hiking spot and don’t want to bring it with you. All without having to struggle to move it to the glove compartment.
Heated back seats and the option to control them are great features at base model, considering some competitors do not even offer that.
Exterior
I love the futuristic look, the beautiful clean lines and colors!
The Nissan Ariya eForce 4-wheel drive is offered in many different colors, but the red (color we drove) and Copper Colors we saw in Sonoma County are my favorites.
I could already imagine my accessories matching one of these electric vehicles, which are as Trendy as it gets.
Love the Grille, Lights and over all sharp look!
Now that you’re heard about my favorite features on the all new #NissanAriya, I want to share a bit of Sonoma County & and Napa Valley spots we’ve explored.
The Montage Hotel Healdesburg, Sonoma County
My second experience with the luxurious and environmentally conscious hotel chain.
Staying at a Montage Hotel is an unforgettable experience and the perfect hotel for our Nissan Trip!
I had a chance to enjoy the beautiful pool and even dip my toes in the warm water while enjoying sunshine on an unusual warm winter day!
I felt like the sunshine followed me to Sonoma County!
The hotel offers cabin style rooms, giving you that comfortable privacy and nature right outside your balcony!
The outdoor shower was the perfect treat after the pool time!
So relaxing to sit by the fire after driving all day and just enjoying nature and earthy accents in our suite.
Our first night took us to Aperture, where they offer tastings and events. We enjoyed the fresh California flavors embedded in unique healthy and delicious dishes and tasting the great wine the winery has to offer.
Our road trip took us to enjoy lunch at Ram’s Gate! Check this gorgeous place out!
We also took a nice girl trip to explore and took a detour to stop at Castelo Amorosa, a beautiful winery and popular spot.
The winery has animals like the most Instagramable goat in California:
I couldn’t help myself but to explore and enjoy the location!
It was great to be able to take the vehicle to explore a great spot on the way back to our hotel in Headlsburg.
Isn’t it beautiful? It was such a special time con amigas a true adventure and hard to leave!
We spoke Spanish in the car, music rolling and laughter all around, true Latino Style!
Electric life is better with friends, don’t you agree?
I hope my pictures and thoughts gave you an idea of how exciting our trip and ride was and inspires you to check out the Nissan Aryia, which will hit the US Markets soon!
Not ready to check it out? Thinking about traveling to Sonoma County or staying at the Montage Headlsburg?
Save for later:
Can’t wait to hear what you think of my adventure Exploring Napa Valley With Nissan Ariya and answer your questions!
As usual, give us a Trendy Shout!

Nnnniiicccceeeeee….I love this Nissan. It’s trunk space is just what I need given the car I am used to driving in has the same amount of space in there. The tech in the driving area is also something that caught my eye.

I have not yet considered getting an EV, but after reading your post, I think this would be something my husband and I should seriously discuss. I love that big screen on the dash. For someone like me with vision problems, a nav screen like that would be a big help!

When we change cars we really want to get an electric car, but I don’t know a lot about them. This one seems like a really nice one, I love the sleek look of the front console x

The Nissan Ariya sounds like a great car (and also looks like Napa was the perfect place to take it). I’ve been hesitant to take the jump to a EV but I think it would be the perfect second car for our family.

I am in the market for a car now, the prices are so expensive it is crazy! I hope cars get a bit cheaper soon.
