One of UP Tv’s most popular original shows is returning for its 2nd season on January 12th at 9:30 PM ET. Growing Up McGhee is a family docu-series that follows the lives of Ro and Mia McGhee, and their energetic sextuplets. In this new season, see Ro and Mia say “I do” all over again as they renew their wedding vows and take a “family-moon” to a Sandals resort with all six kids! All of this makes me want to do something similar and hire a wedding photographer (similar to a Charlottesville wedding photography company) for myself and get some good pictures for the living room!
Why I love it
I’m so excited for this season! As a Christian Mom, family values and having faith as a foundation while raising my son, is so important to me! I love seeing the same thing happening at Growing Up McGhee! Mia and Ro always address issues with humor and love, no matter what life throws at them!
My son is a hand full, and I can only imagine dealing with sextuplets? Yes, you heard it right! Energy and trouble x 6!!!
I really look forward to the show every week! My son has basketball practice on Thursday nights, so I get to bring a cup of coffee and watch it on my own!
So far the series has brought so many lessons and great stories.
My favorites:
- their back to school shopping,
- the decision to keep the children in kindergarten,
- and play time on a rainy day!
I also love how they show that hard parenting moments become life lessons for their children! I’ve learned and pictured myself as Mia so often!

I have been meaning to watch this show! This family looks like so much fun and they seem very down to earth. I need to check them out!!
I haven’t heard of this show before until now. Sounds like something I would enjoy watching.
I only have three kids and raising them wore me out! I have to applaud this couple for handling this pretty well. The kids are so cute! I have to get back to watching the show. I’m missed much of it because I have been tied down to some obligations I have to meet.

Oh I read about them in the news but didn’t know they actually had a show. I will check if we have it on UK channels or if I have to stream it
This sounds like a fun show. I do not live a similar lifestyle to them but I am all about learning what makes each family unique and special.

Growing Up McGhee is a fantastic show. I love to see how big the kids have grown. I can not imagine having a family that big.

I have heard of this show but I have never watched it. I wonder if we get that channel as it definitely sounds interesting. I love shows that have multiples. I also agree that it is good to see that other parents have values of how they raise their children.

I have seen this show, I believe I even saw a few specials when the kids were smaller. They are such an adorable family and their kids are fun to watch!

Thank you so much for posting this. As a Christian woman I really look for shows for my grandkids to watch. This is a great show for them to watch and not have to worry about them watching a trashy show.
I love to see how families with a large number of kids tackle life. This one seems like a sweet and wholesome show everyone will enjoy.

I watched a few episodes of this show and loved it. It’s fun to watch with my family and my son actually enjoys it.
