Feijao is the most used dish or side dish in Brazilian tables! Today I woke up in this gorgeous fall day and I felt I need to have my rice and beans! Took some large steaks out to defrost and place this recipe in the crock pot, enjoy!
4 slices of bacon chopped
1 bouillon cube
1 chopped onion
1 tomato cut in cubes
1 pound of black or pinto beans
cumin, salt and pepper to taste
Place all ingredients in the crock pot and cover with water, 1/2 inches higher than the beans. Cook until beans are soft, around 6 hours on my crockpot in low temperature. Cook white rice and serve with a steak fried on a skillet!
