Summer is here and you are wondering how to be beautiful, protect your skin, and still enjoy the gorgeous weather of my most favorite season! I saved you time and invited by #CollectiveBias, I went to Walgreens to shop for my favorite must have items, to share my Summer Beauty Essentials with you!
My choices were guided by finding new products to protect my skin, while highlighting the beautiful glow of a sun kissed skin. My husband is very fair skinned and always complains about the smell of post sun lotion, so I definitely needed to look for a product with a nice smell. I also needed to find good waterproof mascara and lip gloss products to allow me to get in the ocean and not have a run down look, keeping a polished but natural beach look with the waterproof bonus feature.
First item on my list is the Banana Boat Protect & Hydrate SPF 30. Because who doesn’t want to have a soft hydrated skin while protecting it from the sun??
Second Item is the Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Ultra Radiance Lotion. I have very sensitive dry facial skin, so I like using a product with a sheer factor to give my face that extra radiant look!
My Third and Fourth items are Lipbalm with Sunscreen and Sunproof mascara, to ensure that your lips and beauty look is protected even when you venture to the ocean! There are so many options and beauty deals you can find at Walgreens! I have chosen Carmex Lip Gloss and Covergirl Mascara.
My last item is Mango Aloe Vera Body Gel for my husband who has very fair skin and needs that extra care after the beach! Walgreens has amazing options for Body Gels to cool and soothe the post-sun or sun burned skin, moisturizing the sun-damaged skin.
