I’ve received the Ford F-150 for review purposes, but as usual, all opinions are my own.
Summer is just around the corner, you know I’m all about opening my deck and my backyard and welcome friends for the summer! You don’t realize how much having a truck capable of handle all the tasks, helps you get summer ready. Today I will share how I got summer ready with the Ford Truck F-150.
Get Summer Ready With The Ford F-150
Landscaping
What better than a truck with a bed and a super cool Tailgate Step in the back to help you not only load but easily bring everything out, right?
We tested the cargo space with my 6’8″ son! Check it out!
Here’s one of my favorite features, The step, to allow the short me to help hubby unload some of the things we bought and do some of it on my own as well! Trendy Latina Approved!
Here’s some summer landscaping tips:
Buy the mulch ahead of time, not as you need it, to save.
Trim existing plants
Add Some Pots and Flowers for easy, low-maintenance landscaping décor. Depending on the size of the front yard and garden area, you can employ a whole range of landscaping ideas and speak to some landscaping services in your local area about what would be the best thing for your garden. It could be as simple as a small garden with tidy grass and flower beds or something more exquisite like xeriscaping. Regardless, you can find everything from general purpose tools to specialized nuts and bolts designed to attach timber decking panles from reputed supplier websites.
Here’s how I did it:
Brand New Soil
Chose some colors to compliment our front door, pulling some of the existing colors and making sure, because we travel a lot, that all the plants were partial shade and somewhat weather resistent :
Here’s my easy pot final result. Such a great addition to any front door :
The super easy flower pots are ready for our front door!
We also added some color to our deck!
I’ve planted the smaller red pots and bought the others pre-planted!
Also planted some herbs to give beautiful flavor to our summer grilling recipes, but I will be sharing more about that soon:
Grilling
Make sure that your grill is working, we often clean it before the summer season, we also make sure we have gas ready to exchange in case we run on empty during a full house barbecue!
Pool
We had an above the ground pool, which was too old, so we’re shopping for a new one!
The pool is not open yet, but it’s our next project!
This is last year’s:
Here Are A Few Things We Loved About The Ford F-150:
How spacious it was and how comfortably the 2 6’8″ boys felt riding to basketball practice!
The Boys took of the headphone off as soon as we had the Spotify on, through Apple CarPlay.
We also loved all the USB options in the back for the boys! Plus they loved using the heated seats during the cold front in Jersey!
But one of my absolute favorite features was the over extended sunroof, giving us an awesome peek of the blue skies all around and helping give us that premium feel in this awesome truck! Now, I doubt you would need to perform maintenance too often on this vehicle as it is a rather rugged machine, but you never know when you may need to introduce the best jack for Ford trucks into your arsenal to get it raised in the air with minimal effort
The Ford Truck F150 Platinum starts at $ 54,900 and gave us 18 city and 25 MPG Highway!
You can check more on the features and how to check other models out at Ford!
I can’t wait to hear about your summer decor plans and YOUR truck and what you love about it, if you own one!
We truly missed the Ford F-150 when it left!
It made this Truck Lover Trendy Happy!
Can’t wait to hear what you think!
As usual, give us a Trendy Shout!
