Spring is here, it’s gorgeous out, it’s also time to rev up your workout routine and get bikini ready!
After reading all about Scarlett Johansson’s strenuous workout routine – I’m motivated! She had the help of Marvel Training – here it is, in her own words:
“I did a lot of training, just because I wanted to be able to have the physical presence of someone who is entirely capable. And then, of course, I had to actually be kind of capable. Luckily I have had a lot of fight training and weapons training for all those little Marvel movies, so it actually comes in quite handy because it builds this vocabulary. And then did I lot of, you know, a lot of repetition and then a lot of tactical training, which I’d never done before – with room clearing and all that stuff, to just be as efficient with the weapons as possible.”
The Major certainly uses different fighting techniques than Black Widow, so, it makes sense that Johansson’s training would help her get ready to play a similarly agile warrior.
She inspired me to chat with my trainer to boost my HIIT series and give me additional workouts I could do at home, to help me get in “Major Shape”, emphasizing strength and endurance!
Here are some of my favorite moves, which have helped me shape my body in a short amount of time!
I know you know how to do squats, they help my hips and upper legs get that beautiful toned shape! I’ve created a challenge where, each week, I raise the number by 10!
That movement, not only is a part of my HIIT, but I also do it in between ab or arm workouts
Just make sure you position your stomach and hips as if you were tucking your pelvis inside. The movement should be in your stomach not on your neck, nor your arms.
